The discomfort became more intense. It was excruciatingly painful. I contacted my doctor, and we discovered the source of the problem to be this cushion. I discovered an old pillow, and today I am pain-free. Yea! Perhaps it was designed with a man in mind. I was let down.
Butt ecstatic.
I keep it in my car at all times, as well as in some movie theaters for hard seats. Very relaxing. It is extremely beneficial.

I was taken aback by how comfortable this is! It has a dense and heavy feel to it. Happily, when I sit in it, I find myself sitting upright, lol, which I realize is purely mental, but it's still a plus! Another fantastic feature of this cushion is that it is not going anywhere! There is no sliding due to the weight of the item and the texture of the bottom! I used to slide onto my stool, but now I have to climb on it. if that's what you're getting at. Cushion is about 3" thick and does not move. Don't be concerned if your butt doesn't fit! The tailbone is accommodated, and the slightly scooped areas keep some cheek and thigh in place. The meshy cover is machine washable. I believe you could also "air" the cushion from time to time. When you squeeze the cushion hard enough, it returns to its original shape. It's well-made and functional, and it's a good value.
