To fit over Chicco's keyfit 30, I bought this car seat cover. It fits over the baby's head, but there is a huge gap where it would be on the baby's face. Would it be able to lie down perfectly if I positioned the piece just right, most probably, but any movement would cause it to gape and hit the baby's face, leaving a hole for wind and rain to enter. Although this is not the right cover if you are trying to keep the face part open to expose a baby's face, it does seem to work fine if you want to keep the cover closed so that you will not have to worry about drafts or rain. This product is very disappointing and I am confused by all of the positive reviews on it. Despite how convenient it seems, it doesn't seem to be as useful as it seems. We bought this because of the positive reviews, so we expected to love it. But the fit is tight and the opening is hard to open. I mentioned previously that when we place the carrier cover over our baby carrier, it fits extremely snug but there are openings on both sides where the carrier handles are accessible to cold air. I returned the other one, but I kept this one because I love it. Unlike most rain jackets, this jacket is soft on the inside and is weatherproof, but isn't stiff in the outside. It zips and unzips easily, has tight elastic providing a secure fit with no gaps, is fleece lined, and has an adjustable opening. When I figured that out, I was able to pull the hood all the way back and attach the cover all the way around the rim of the car seat, and then pull it all I have solved the problem!
