Questions & Answers

Is it possible to easily remove the toy bar?

The toys aren't detachable from the bar, but it can be removed with two hands.

Is it possible to include a 15-day-old baby?

Yes, I used it for my baby, but I didn't leave him alone with it. So it'll do for a small peanut, but I'm not sure what the manufacturer suggests.

Is it possible to rock the boat manually?

It is possible to bounce it, as Deb stated. We usually put our baby in the swing, turn on the music, and manually 'bounce' her by placing our foot on the wire footing. It is, without a doubt, her preferred method of falling asleep. We have a swing from 4Moms, which is quite expensive. & Don't get me wrong: we really enjoy it. She, on the other hand, prefers the vibrating seat, which costs $20.

Is there any kind of flame retardant in this?

I'm sure I'm kit, but stay away from the stove or fireplace.

One of the most important requirements for my child
3/5

I'm not a huge fan of baby "stuff. " All of the nonsense that people would have you believe is unnecessary for babies. Because this is my third child in ten years, I've had to repurchase all of my baby gear three times. I'm buying fewer things each time. The bouncy seat was extremely useful to me. It's lightweight and portable, and it doesn't take up much space in the house. I use it in the bathroom, the kitchen, and outside, with a small towel folded behind the neck to ensure that the baby's airway remains open, which is a concern with these seats. However, with that minor adjustment, the head never rests on the chest, which isn't a problem when supervised. The bouncy seat has been a favorite spot for all of my babies to sit and watch the daily activities around the house. br>br>UPDATE (February 22nd, 2019): This bouncer stopped vibrating after about two months of use. I'm extremely disappointed. My previous FP bouncer had a 5-year life span! I took away stars because you can't just buy the part from FP; I had to buy the entire seat again.

Excellent bouncer, exactly what I was looking for
5/5

I've been looking for a bouncer like this for a long time. It's cheap, light, simple, and easy to bounce, and your baby will love it! I tried the Fisher-Price rock and play sleeper, but my baby couldn't see out of it and was unhappy with it. I've used a graco bouncer with a recline feature, but at only 2 months old, the recline handle hit the top of baby's head. My baby is almost 4 months old and in the 90% height range and still has room to grow. She is also a big fan of the toys. In this bouncer, she was also able to sleep better when she had a cold. Her feet do not make contact with the vibrater (which I do not use) because it is well padded. It's lightweight and bouncy. I've included photos to demonstrate the amount of space between her head and the seat's top. She's in her late twenties. This photo shows me at 27" tall.

The seat is a good size
5/5

To begin with, the toy bar that comes with the bouncer is completely ignored by the baby. The bouncer, on the other hand, has proven to be extremely useful. It's a great little seat for transporting the baby around the house while I'm cooking or doing chores and keeping an eye on him. Unlike a portable rock 'n play, the baby can see his surroundings while in his bouncer, which keeps him happy. Also, his boppy noggin nest works well in this for extra head support, so it's definitely worth the $20!br>br>UPDATING - To add to that, now that little man is four months old, he is enamored with the toy bar! In addition, it is the summer. This chair is ideal for use in the backyard. Under our canopy tent, take in the fresh air. I like how portable this seat is; it fits well in the car and can be taken with us to babysitters or family gatherings so that we have a place to put little man when he doesn't want to be held.

Game- changer
5/5

My 7-week-old daughter suffers from colic and is unable to sleep on her back as a result. She spits up a lot and has a lot of stomach pain as a result of it. This bouncy seat is great and solved the issue. Because of the angle (she isn't flat on her back), she can sit/nap comfortably in it, and it doesn't bother her stomach. It's been a thrilling ride so far. In our home, things have changed. From a sad baby to a happy baby, we've come a long way. br>br>6/20/18 Update: This bouncer is extremely durable and has stood up to a lot of abuse. This bouncer and the Fischer price rock n play were the only things she could tolerate sleeping in for two months when we had our second daughter in November 2017. She had severe acid reflux (to the point where she was put on prescription medication at three weeks old), and this bouncer and the Fischer price rock n play were the only things she could tolerate sleeping in. So, this bouncer saved me with both of my little girls, who have thankfully outgrown their stomach issues, and it even survived the now 2-year-old who was seated in it. Did I say the two-year-old is 35 pounds? When I realized she was sitting in it, I was concerned that the legs would snap, but it survived. It was the only thing that kept me sane while helping the kids sleep, and it was an amazing bouncer.

It was well worth the money! I started with one and then bought another one a week later
5/5

These chairs have been fantastic for me because I have twins. They slept in these chairs on a regular basis when they were newborns and first came home. It had the ideal incline for when they were done eating. They've been doing it for 5 months and are still having a good time. My son enjoys reaching for and spinning the toys now that they are attached. br>All it took was a few screws to put it together. Putting the batteries in is most likely the most difficult part. Note: do it ahead of time: ) the cover can be removed and washed in the washing machine, which I really like. It's a fantastic chair, and the price is unbeatable; it bounces, vibrates, and includes a toy bar. It isn't fancy, but it provides all of the necessities.

This is a seat that my son adores
5/5

My son outgrew his baby rocker as he grew older, but he was still unable to sit up. This is at just the right angle for him to see what's going on around him while also allowing him to nap if he gets tired. When I need to keep him occupied while I do chores, I use the removable toy bar. The seat detaches easily and is machine washable. When he first got a cold and an ear infection, it was also a lifesaver; He found lying flat to be extremely uncomfortable, but it allowed him to get some much-needed rest during the day. Oh, and it shivers! He'll outgrow it quickly, but for the price, it's a no-brainer.

or whatever you want for an hour or so and he'll be content is priceless
4/5

Swings are difficult for our two-month-old, but she enjoys the bounce and vibration. He's still too young to bounce himself and isn't interested in the toys, but the fact that I can bounce this with my foot while I eat, drink coffee, or do whatever and he'll be happy for an hour or so is priceless. Plus, because it's so light and portable, I can move him with one arm while the seat is moved with the other. If you have a child who enjoys bouncing, this is an excellent value for money. It's a fantastic purchase, even if he only uses it for a few months. br>br>We gave it four stars because the vibration only works occasionally after two weeks of use (yes, we tried new batteries). However, it is still a good investment.
