It doesn't matter if the outer side is mounted on the outside or the inside, as long as you mount the outer side on the outside, you should be fine. There will be a difference in the tread pattern when seen from the front, however, since these are not directional tires, this will not cause any problems.

So far I really like them, they corner well and ride good, and they seem to be lasting just fine despite yours truly pushing them so hard.
As of now, this product seems to be working It has only been a few months since I drove over 2000 miles. However, I don't know what the Miles are or what the longevity is. There is no telling what the future will bring.
