Tractors come in all shapes and sizes, depending on how you want to use them. The tires were mounted on a Craftsman riding tractor to replace 15 x 6 x 6 tires that were on there previously. I won't be using this tire on the road since it has an aggressive tread pattern however, I am using mine in the winter. It may take some time for the bead to set, so use a ratchet strap to compress the tire so it sits I was able to successfully use it.
Tubeless mounting is what they are for. A 4 was used to mount them. I use a snowblower with a 5 inch wide rim, and it works The wheel should mount easily to a 4 inch rim. I had a bit of trouble with 5.
The only tires I purchased were the ones on my snow blower's rims

In order to replace worn out 15x6s, I purchased these There are six turf tires mounted on an older Carter Brothers cart. The cart has a solid rear axle that tends to keep the cart straight when accelerating. Turf tires used to corner poorly, but these snow tires have an aggressive tread that allows the cart to turn in more smoothly without having to use the steering wheel to the full extent.
At some point, we will know if they hold up to turf and gravel, but I'm sure they will be fine for snow tires as originally intended. While the gravel will probably tear them up, they appear to be well constructed in general. Although installation was a challenge, there were several instructional videos that could help, and with a few simple tools and an air compressor you can easily do it.
Tires that grip really well and have great tread. These are the ones you need for your mud mower if you want to keep the tire size close to the stock size. Even though these tires are narrower than stock, they will still fit onto the rim just fine. They performed well on the Craftsman LT1000.
Don't forget them. I installed them on my Honda snow blower and I'm amazed at how much better it runs. Tires like these really dig into the snow and help to clear it. The original two-piece rims were used, and angled Stens tubes with stanchions were installed. We are in a much better state I recommend these if you are looking to replace the original tubes as well. Make sure you have tubes on hand.
I need replacement tires for my Ariens snowblower. The tread and pushing power are both better.
My rims were far too skinny to fit these tires. They would work for the front if you have the correct size rim, but do not apply if you have split rims. Measure your rims before purchasing, it was my mistake that I didn't do this.
They have a cool tread pattern and look great as the front wheels of my kart. They are easy to install, but you must have a lot of foresight and know how, as the tires are tiny. The bead can be seated with the use of a ratchet strap.

It's great to have them! The factory lost an inch since it was 6 but I still don't see any problems! Now it's quick and turns on a dime too, thanks to the new rears! 1 hour can be cut down to 1 hour. It cut 5 hours off my cut time. Even though my yard is far from level and there is a slope in front of the highway, it no longer poses a problem.
