Questions & Answers
The weights we use on scooters and motorcycles usually weigh 1/8th oz, but these weights are just as effective.
About 3/4" long, 1/2" wide, and 3/16" thick, they are made of aluminum. Having used them in HO scale cars, I wasn't able to achieve clearance issues. I haven't encountered any issues with N or Z scale. In addition to RC planes and boats, they are ideal for balancing out the weight.

There is not much to say about little black weights except that I have weighed a couple and they are accurate. A second feature of them was that they appeared to stick well to the wheel. Please note that the wheel area must be cleaned with a non residue cleaner and not to touch the adhesive on the weights with your finger tips.
As someone else said, it is obvious they don't look like the picture. I almost feel like they're made out of plastic. This will not be rubberized like the image suggests. It is simply a y coated finish. My main reason for buying this was that I was looking forward to receiving a matt finish. However, they are not polished well enough, with 4 ft. etched into the top and a wolf etched into the side. These should be able to handle smaller/micro weights for whatever application you need them.
Weights are a cool addition to rims, such as black, so I thought black ones would be cool, however I was thoroughly disappointed in this product. They were only packed in a bag, and the packaging did nothing to keep A piece of each was folded over and stuck to the bag it I'm used to seeing adhesive foam in weights or other products that have high bond strength. This is not the kind I see. The chances of me even trying to use them are slim.
However, in general, these weights are hard to find, unless you're a member of the Cycle Gear community. (Dealer's do not seem inclined to give them up or sell them. )*Bought a package of these and they adhere pretty My Honda CB650F comes with black rims, so I bought the black ones to match. I think this is a great.
Despite being affixed to the rims, these weights fell off of the adhesive tape before they could be mounted It is a very thin, oil-based adhesive. Because they were so expensive, I did not want to put them on my expensive wheels. The deadline for returns has passed.
It is easy to add extra weight to model railroad locomotives and boxes cars with the Hornet Tire lead free adhesive backed wheel weights.
Having my tires balanced myself is my favorite way to go. I use these tools to help me get there. It has been almost a month since I ordered them, and they are still there and do not rust. They are good quality and small.
For the balance of bicycle wheels, I used these. Nothing to complain about, everything worked perfectly.
