There is an adhesive on one side and no adhesive on the other. When the adhesive pad is used, the width is 18mm (just under 3/16"). As a father and car builder, I have built a number of pinewood derby cars for my son and his friends, however these are inadequate for the task. It will be more difficult to fine tune the weight since they are made of steel rather than

The rims are great, but they are a little too wide for dirt bikes. Additionally, they are harder than lead and they don't bend like it. attempt to bend these products, they will crack or the adhesive will not hold up. Using a Dremel with a cut-out attachment, I was able to accomplish what I needed. With one half clamped in a vice with thick aluminum jaws, the other half lies at the side of a wheel. Using this method, the jaws prevent it from overheating during the cut and melting the adhesive, which makes it possible to cut them down. that is not in the jaws is trash, as it will melt the adhesive. I would say that wheel weights are a confusing matter. The stick on is great, I know. It's funny.
I used it to balance my tires and it worked well It is great that the adhesive works so well.
For the balancing of the wheels on my high performing car, I purchased these weights. As indicated by the fact that they stayed securely mounted on my rims, Weights have good glue adhere to them.
