A friend of mine was TIRED (heh) of letting me balance my wheels at the shop where he works, so I bought my own tire balancer from him. Rather than using their fancy snapon or bluepoint tire weight tools, which are old but do the job, I used their old but reliable snapon tools. Let me tell you one thing though this Gearwrench weight removal/installation tool works so much better than any other tool I've tried. With this weight press, you can make the correct weight using lead or zinc weights by taking bites out of the clip on weights. As a result, rims are not damaged by the nylon hammer face. You will not find a better company than Gearwrench!.
Having a fleet of vehicles is too expensive for me to purchase all the different kinds of weights for them It allows you to adjust the weights according to the style of your rim by removing and crimping them. There are two cons to the pivot it's very stiff and the plastic face on the hammer is not durable.
The set I have here belongs to me and I regret not buying it earlier. It is a great price for such a sturdy pair! These cables don't slip off weights or pinch fingers as easily, which is why they won't pinch your hand.
There is some weight to this gear wrench hammer, plus it is well built and solid. My other wheel weight hammer feels cheap in my hand when I pick it up, but this one feels good in my hand.
They are expensive but well worth the investment. My intention was to get this since the shop tool version is terrible. Every GS we hire breaks the shop versions (which are not gear wrench brand) and so I bought my own so that, when I do have to do tires, I won't have to bust my knuckles or pinch my hand. These work well. It has been months now since I have used them and not one problem has arisen. There is no doubt about the quality.

The quality of the work is excellent. Buy this hammer if you want a nice hammer. For $15 you can buy silver backups if you just need them as an extra. It's fine as long as you get paid.
