Questions & Answers
The retail package did indeed come in the standard retail packaging.
Considering that these are fairly small with little ridges on the side, if you are not able to find the correct size, they may be modified. If I can get the materials to fit well, and if the material is sturdy enough to be modified in ways I'm not averse to
It happened to me a year ago, but I am not sure what happened.
Locked on one side, it is single rim.

There has been a problem with my Suzuki DRZ400S's tires spinning both on the front and rear rims. For the front and the rear, I got one of these. My first attempt was to install the rear part, and it went in without any trouble. To torque the nut to 10ft/lbs, I applied 10ft/lbs of force. As I proceeded to the front, I pinched the tire tube when I was reinstalling the tire and had to tear it apart to patch it. It was okay the second time around to reassembly. I added anti-corrosion gel to protect the metal The threads were then seized according to the instructions and the nut was torqued. Although it tightened, it was barely tight enough to achieve the torque of 10lbs/ft. I heard a snap, and it started to spin easily again, so I stopped and put it back in the bike. I'm not sure why it broke, but I probably was around 7 or 8. A snapping force of 8 ft/lbs was the result of this. The front tire is in the process of being replaced and we're unsure whether to order another and try again or get an aluminum one.
It is impossible for plastic to be as strong as aluminum since it weighs so much more than it does. The torque wrench was used to install, and it did seem to take quite some time to get to 10ft-lbs It weighs approx.
On my 2019 CRF450L, I'm going to put these on the front and rear. Yes, it's street legal, they come with the rims like on the R model, though they are 18 instead of 19 inches. It does not come with a rim lock, but they will work perfect without it since these come with a half-way cut to get them on properly. I gave 4 stars for easy to install because I have to cut the tires halfway off the wheel to install them.
In the past, I would get flats on the rear (torn valve stems), so hopefully this will help prevent that in the future.
I bought a new set of rims that didn't come with These were my first choice because of their "lightweight" design. What makes this nut really cool is the nut itself. This is a slick video.
It is of good quality. That's not the case with the weight. A rimlock that does the job. The rim is prevented from spinning around the tire. It also allows the wheels to be balanced, which is not always the case with heavy rim locks. The fault lies with me because I bought the wrong size. I give 10 out of 10.
This is the part I used on my 1985 Honda XR600R Baja Cross Country Champion Desert Racer.
The rotating mass and imbalance are minimized, good stuff. You shouldn't overtighten it as it's plastic, and it will tear if you overtighten it. When changing tires, make sure to take off and clean/chase the threads so that you get a precise torque reading. If you follow the above, you will get a great product.
