Product Description

Dynamic tire pressure monitoring is provided by a single monitor and four sensors that are attached to the tire. Using a wireless transmission system, it transmits the real-time tire data to the monitor, which displays the temperature and air pressure at the exact time it happens
A temperature sensor and a pressure sensor are used to measure the tire temperature (Celsius) and pressure (0*116 psi). 26 feet of signal coverage is provided by the sensor. The following applies to most Cars, Sport Utility Vehicles, and Recreational Vehicles. If the distance from sensors to monitor is greater than 26 feet, a repeater may be needed
Each of the four sensors is equipped with anti-theft locking. Every sensor has its own chip, and each of them will automatically shut down to conserve battery power when the tire stops running for a period of As soon as you drive the car to 20 km/h, the sensors will wake up and update real-time
With the system built with the appropriate alert data in factory, the monitor will alert the user with beeps and flashes if there is an abnormal temperature or pressure. Customization is possible as well when it comes to alert data.
The monitor should be placed inside the car so it does not obstruct vision of the drive. The battery in the head unit is solar powered, so there's no need for a DC In the case of a sensor battery needing to be replaced, we will provide free batteries for the first time.

Questions & Answers

Do you think this will work with How far can the signal be heard?

Please consider the model 901T for trucks instead, thanks! This version is good for cars only.

Is it possible to buy rubber gaskets as replacements? My valve stems on two of them have cracked, so they are no longer sealing. ?

Would you mind clarifying if we are talking about gaskets or sensors The gaskets can be provided for free, but you need to pay for the sensors. Thanks.

Is there a difference between 5 and 4 sensors in the package?

It comes with 6 external sensors for this model.

Monitor your TPMS internally with a reasonable system
4/5

My TPMS model T901 has internal sensors with replaceable batteries and was purchased on May 30, 2019. This small display plugs into a cigarette lighter socket to power it. It is about the size of a deck of cards. There are four internal sensors in the device. There are no external sensors that came with it. On the Amazon page, there are a couple of different versions of the display. In the display, I noticed that the 5th sensor pressure (probably for the spare tire) was not displayed. I would like to install a 3rd-party TPMS system on my 2002 truck, since it does not have a built-in TPMS. An earlier TPMS I had purchased used external sensors secure to the stem of the valve. While the system worked perfectly, I plugged in the wrong power cord I found the "lock nut" that keeps the sensors from coming off to be much more difficult to deal with when I went off road. As a result, I began searching for an internal system and ended up purchasing this one. For the same price that I would have paid to have them reinstalled, my local tire dealer installed the sensors The tires need to be balanced. The cost of a new tire is about $20. I did have to convince them that I did not need a retread A new set of sensors was "programmed". In order to power the display itself, the lighter socket acts as a power source. Fortunately, it comes with an adapter cord that seems relatively long (5'). Power for the display is provided directly by the 12V power supply. In spite of the fact that it is not a USB cord, the power cord has a mini coaxial plug, not a USB connection. A voltage of 12 volts was measured at the plug. One interesting feature about the display is that it looks like it is equipped with a large battery. The display has a powerful charge that will last for hours, if not days, when charged via the power cord. As a result, you don't need to plug the display in all the time. In fact, when I had the sensor installed in the tires, I carried the display inside with me and saw when the techs actually started inflating each tire. I really like this. Only a cement block wall separated me from the garage, which was about 30 feet from me. A display could pick up the sensors within that range without any difficulty. It may have a motion sensor built in, which may elongate the battery life. I am unsure how long the battery will last. The lighter socket for my truck does not work when I leave it. There is no display when I open a door or get in the truck, but the display comes on as soon as both of those things are done. The authenticity of this has not been confirmed to me. It seems so far that the sensors are showing accurate pressures and doing so with a great deal of reliability. It seems as though there is a big gap between the sensors and the display. From 30 to Can you tell me how long 50' is? In its previous work at the tire dealer, it used cement to bind the tire layers The wall is made of blocks. As I was airing down my tires and walked away from the display several car lengths away, it continued to show tire pressure. One thing I had hoped for did not turn out the way I had expected. mentioned earlier, I am airborne As I am going off-road I have my tires down. There are some devices that can do this automatically on the road. Walk away with them upside down and screwed on. It was very nice. When I am finished, I can re-inflate the tires using the air compressor. There is no automatic system for that, though. My pressure has to be monitored constantly. It was my hope that I could just carry around the battery powered display while I watched the pressure rise without having to bend over the tire all the time. I am sorry to say that this did not work Sensors are unable to send data once the tires stop moving, so they stop sending data a short period of time after stopping. It is also possible to slow down the rate at which In about 20 minutes I am able to air up the tires again. Usually I get about two per day On average, you'll get three readings when you're inflating the first tire, but typically only one on the other In order to keep track of the tire inflation pressure, I have to stand over each tire. The plan worked, but it just didn't work out. I would have been so happy if the plan had worked. There is an option for displaying the pressure in psi or bar, as well as in As part of the unit, there is also a rotating wheel, which is needed with the As well as setting high and low pressure alarms, the system also provides high and low temperature alarms. It is possible to silence an alarm when it goes off. Due to the fact that I have an air-conditioning system, I need silencing To keep my tires at a low pressure, I will need to lower them. My apologies, but I am not sure if you can set an alarm for the temperature. Though there are a few pros and cons to consider In addition, the display does not seem to have a good backlight, and it isn't very bright. A good amount of light makes it easier to read, but if there is direct sun or if the display is in shadow (which is usually the case when it's found somewhere on the dashboard), it's almost impossible to read. Nights are difficult for me too because I have a hard time reading. Light "is" shining on the characters, but it is not very bright. In my experience, my eyes are usually used to bright headlights, and the reduced display is nearly impossible to read when I glance down and then look One of the previous external TPMS systems I had purchased had a nice One of the major reasons I took a star off my rating was the inadequate backlight. All four tires can only be set to receive one high and low pressure alert. It's not possible for me to set different alarm levels if I am running different back and front pressures like I do on my truck. To set the "low alarm" low enough for the front tires and the "high alarm" high enough for the back tires, I put them both into programming. To me, a difference of 25-minutes between high and low alarms constitutes a meaningful difference There is a 30-pound weight limit. Due to the display being powered by a very long-lasting battery, it doesn't appear there is any way to actually turn it off Battery that lasts for a long time. My reasoning for wanting to power off the display is due to the fact that it seems to remember the last pressure reading it received and displays When I come back from a long trip, my tire pressure is high due to the There is an indication of that in the display. Whenever I turn on the truck after the high pressure has ended, I still see high pressure displayed. Due to this reason, I must mentally grasp the fact that it's high. Suddenly, I begin driving, and the sensors begin sending new information, which leads to a decrease in tire pressure. First I see this and then my first thought is "my tires are flat," which leads to having to mentally realize what is happening. I would like to be able to have an option that, if the display is plugged into power, it will turn on and off with it. It is likely that the display was kept on dim settings intentionally to get the most mileage from the battery. Although, if the device is powered by a lighter, a bright display should be possible. The display comes with a piece of clear plastic attached to it as a means of protection Although the edges are not easily peeled off, there is no easy way to do so In a recessed display, the edge is recessed. In many protective plastics, a tab is not required as it has to allow removal of the plastic. I'm going to have to take something sharp to it at some point in order to fit This is just a direct result of the plastic itself having bubbles of air underneath that makes it even harder to view A different sensor cannot be programmed by an owner, as there is no method to do so. If there had been tire pressure warnings "after" I had aired down my tires, I would have appreciated them. I have yet to see a TPMS that can switch between multiple alarm levels, and switching between different alarm levels would have been ideal. As a backup plan, I was considering purchasing a second TPMS of the same model, reprogramming the second display to work with the original sensors, then using two displays with the same alarm settings on each display. It is upsetting that this unit does not allow the programming of new sensors like my previously used external sensors did. In conclusion, I am still enjoying this TPMS a lot. However, I have committed myself regardless of the internal sensors. It would be nice if that display had a better backlight so it's easier to read!.
