Getting aluminum together is much easier! You'll spit less and split less! Just experimented with the 3/32" when I first got it and found that there is no noticeable difference between that and the ceriated and lanthanated I use for steel and aluminum. Initially, I used aluminum. I grinded a nice sharp point for my inverter and ran a few 4043 beads on 1/4" 6061 cable. Also, there was no spitting from me, although it was a short session. The La electrodes seem to be ineffective as well. Since I'm an old shaky guy, I duffed the electrode a few times during the session, but it shook it off like a champ and I kept I was surprised when a fly landed in my arc, causing carbon to explode everywhere. At the end of the session, a small sphere had formed but there was not much else and the cycle did not need to be repeated A single sharpening is sufficient. As a first step, I put a slender point on the electrode and ran a few beads with A range of steel sizes is available from 040 to 1/2" and some stainless steels as well. Several rods later, I saw the same point I found at the beginning. All the details remained sharp and clean. As an additional test, I welded together some rod remnants to see how they performed at low currents. A 40mm rod is attached to a 40mm rod. I am very satisfied with them and will be ordering some 1/16" ones soon.
A good tungsten that can be used for any purpose. The welding can be done using a common dc or ac electrical system. You can start an arc at a low amperage but still get a good result. Those who are interested in aluminum/aluminum arc welding will find it interesting. That's better than 2% local area network.
All you need it to do is tell it what to For other types of metals, there will no longer be a choice between pigmented tungsten and other types When it comes to tungsten, you are at the end of the road. There may be times when I sound like I'm sponsored here, but honestly, this stuff is better than anything else on the market. I am not a fan of aluminum, but on any metal it is above and beyond. Having a clear idea of what you are looking for in a TIG welding machine will not let you down.
Since I've been using LaYZr tungsten for a month now, I can say that it works great. If I grind a point into my tungsten, the point holds for a longer period of time. It's great to have low amperage startups My main job involves micro welding a lot, and this tungsten also does the job.
This chartreuse tungsten has held up really well in my AHP Alphatig 201XD, even when I turned up the balance a little higher than I normally would. It seems to take a ton of pressure for it to ball up, which is fine since I have an inverter machine. It also breaks cleanly with just a little tap, instead of ripping apart.
The Layzr is the pinnacle of CK's creations, but his other works take the cake as well.
This is a good start and does a nice job of retaining the point. I feel like I'm back at the welding shop of.
