Questions & Answers

Thank you! I am looking for regulators for the smith little torch disposable bottle type British fittings. Would you be able to help me?

I have a different item from the one you ordered. If you purchase, just email me the order number and let me know you want the British fitting ones. Thank you for purchasing. Sam

If I were to replace these preset regulators, how often would I do it?

The gas must leak even after the regulator has been turned off, so you should replace it

Is there an option to thread this on the left for smaller oxygen tanks?

In short, yes. You can attach it to disposable oxygen cylinders that are available at home depots.

The regulator works well, but the bottle costs quite a bit
3/5

These items and the matching fuel regulator have been used to harden, silver solder, and light braze with a Smith Little Torch. I like it a lot. If you are considering buying it, I would strongly urge you to reconsider. This is due to the high cost of oxygen cylinders. The oxygen and propane I usually use are both portable. In order to get one propane bottle, I need to go through about four oxygen bottles. It costs about $17 to buy oxygen bottles this week at Lowe's. The price is 50 cents per unit. When I returned to my local welding shop after standing in the aisle with four oxygen bottles and trying to justifiably justify spending $70 plus tax, I put them back on the shelf. It is estimated that under 0. 0 ounces of alcohol will fit in these tiny bottles. This is equal to 5 cubic feet. The entire Foot. A bottle of gas does not specify the volume it holds. It cost me less than $200 to buy a 20 cubic foot chest. The entire Foot. Filled the bottle with oxygen, connected the regulator, and filled the bottle with oxygen. As much oxygen is contained in this can as in one of the little bottles, about 40 times more. I have to spend $18 to fill up my new cylinder. I do not use this setup on a daily basis. Since I would have to buy those small, expensive bottles so infrequently, I assumed that the cost of the cylinder would be offset by that infrequent use, but I was wrong. It is very frustrating to run out of oxygen in the middle of heating the work. In conclusion, I would like to state. . In spite of the regulator's obvious benefits, the price of the bottles it comes with makes it a product that is good for only very infrequent usage.
