If you have a tank regulator, it will determine how much pressure is in the Torches and regulators fitted with this hose are standard in industrial applications. It is likely that these fittings are too large for a torch of this size, like a jeweler's torch. It is necessary to use an 11/16" wrench to install these hose fittings If the wrench that is included with your torch/regulator/hose fitting is smaller than that, the Torch Fittings will not work.
The steel fabrication shop I own is mine. I just bought these and I feel as though they are pretty durable and lasting a long time.

It is time for a new welding hose as my old one is 50 plus years old. The material is supple enough and appears to last, so it should be able to last a long time. Sheerness is a concept I have never heard of.
I chose them because they are Goodyear tires, we shall see how they hold up after a while.
