It was time to replace her boat trailer tires on her Aluminum custom rims after 7 years. For my new 12" radial tires, I purchased these tire valve stems. I found I had one "extra" valve stem since I needed one stem for each tire (2) plus the spare. Tire pressures "above" recommended for trailers are easily handled by these. A rubber stem can't hold up to more pressure than a steel stem. A couple of months after I started using this product, I'm writing this review. I have had great success with these. They were installed on a Triton trailer pulling a waverunner, which was equipped with 12" Aluminum rims with radials.
Due to the high pressure, I had a requirement for a heavier duty valve stem, so I ordered these for my trailer tires. Even though they were coming from the other side of the country, they arrived quickly and well before the scheduled arrival date.
As a replacement for a damaged valve stem in a spare tire. I love the way it fits and works. These valve stems replaced the broken stock valve stem that came with the tire, which had a pressure of 60 psi. Good quality, and it is a perfect fit. Item as described, arrived on time, and it is of good quality.
I have used this equipment on a different vehicle before and never had a problem, so when it was time to install new tires I ordered this equipment. I would recommend it to anyone!!.
For my maxxis trailer tires, I purchased these valve stems. This is a very sturdy and thick item.
The program and installation for my 2011 Chevrolet Tahoe were both easy. The system has been in place for over eight months and no false data has been reported.
I had the wrong size specification (I needed TR 438), but it was still working correctly for now.
