On a Sunday, I had a flat tire at the start of a ride. I had to jump through hoops to get a trailer (luckily, it was only 15 miles away). We were unable to attend the entire ride due to the fact that we had ordered this kit the day before. I got the bike on the lift, but due to the flat, I couldn't get my jack under it. On Tuesday, I received the kit and took the bike off the lift to give it a "real world" test. It works flawlessly. br> With only the tools in the kit, I was able to plug the tire, inflate it, and ride away. I'd put my faith in the repair to get me a 50-percent return on my investment. To get to a bike shop, I had to drive 100 miles. My riding companions were also pleased to see how simple and quick the repair was. I was the first to get a flat tire, and we all agreed that if it had happened on a long trip, I would have been in serious trouble. br>The kit is about the size of my hand, takes up very little space, and can mean the difference between ending the day or ride (and attempting to find a tow) or continuing on to the next stop for a new tire.
