Hello. This is an excellent tire plug kit. This is the very first time I've used a tire plug system. On a zero turn mower, I used it on a large rear tire. It was punctured twice by a large type wood staple. br>After reading the instructions and watching the video, repairing the tire was simple. Yes, air was whizzing out puncture holes after I filled the tire with air. Reamed first tire hole, inserted tire plug sticky thread string in insertion tool, pushed in hole down to metal stop ring thing on top of tire tread, leaving about 1/2 to 1/3 sticking out on top. br>Insert more air into the tire and repeat the procedure for the second punctured tire hole. I used a small air compressor to get the top of the sticky string flush with the top of the tire. br>I'm sure you could do this without putting air in the tire, but I did because I had one. br>Also, I'm sure getting the sticky string into a steel belted radial tire would be a little more difficult, but the insertion tool is pointed, so you should be able to twist it through. It was simple to detect the softness of the mower tires. Yes, this is a kit that I would recommend.

Tire repair kits are something I'm used to. I purchased this kit because it appeared to be a good value on the internet. It was just delivered to me. There are two major issues: the handles require an Allen wrench to tighten the two tools that go into the tire, and pushing through a tire is not easy. The Allen wrench tightens the handle so it doesn't come apart when you put your entire weight on it, which is quite difficult. When I tried to tighten the tool with the Allen wrench that came with it, it immediately broke. extremely hazardous This is something I would strongly advise against. It's too cheap, and if you can't tighten it, it's a waste of money. It can be quite dangerous, to say the least, as evidenced by the use of lubricant to push the tool in. It is extremely useful, but it is not included in this set. So, if you're putting your kit together, pick up a small jar of Vaseline to use. For the manufacturer of this product. When you don't have any lubricant, don't include it in all of your instructions. it should be brought up.

The product performs exactly as expected. Removed the nail from the tire, smoothed out the hole with the provided auger, inserted the rubber patch with the tool, and pulled. We drove away to add some air after trimming the rubber patch. For the past 500 miles, the tire has maintained its pressure. Paying $20 to a garage to patch a tire that you can do yourself is a waste of money. While the tools aren't of the highest quality, I believe this kit could easily be reused ten times. The $17 was well spent. The price is $99 for this item. This book comes highly recommended.

Although I haven't had the opportunity to use it yet, the quality appears to be satisfactory. This appears to be a good, all-around tire repair kit. Although I haven't had the opportunity to use it yet, the tools appear to be of adequate quality for the job. I bought this, as well as a portable 12V air pump, to keep in the trunk of my new car (which does not come with a spare tire!) in case I need to fix a puncture while driving.

Are you going to use this kid for my side-by-side? We have punctures on the left side in some cases. I had my first puncture after purchasing this kit, and after repeatedly attempting to use the rubber plugs, they did not hold up, and depending on the air we simply pushed out, they appeared to be dry rotted when I received them, and they did not work. It also appears that the kit comes with other tools, which mine did not.

This is a fantastic set. It's simple to use, well-made, and should last a long time; I've owned more expensive sets that weren't as well-made. I used it to fix a flat tire on my van, and it hasn't leaked yet. It's useful to have on hand in case you have one of those "oh crap" moments while driving.

This kit includes an absurdly large number of tools and parts. This is a must-have for any handyman who enjoys making minor repairs. It is highly recommended. Of course, if you're a professional, you'll want to go for a higher level of quality, but for the average person like me, this is sufficient.

My 4-wheeler had a flat. I was able to repair it in less than a minute rather than taking it off, lugging it to my local tire shop, and having them fix or replace it. It was ready to go after I refilled the tire. I'd suggest it.
