Is there anyone who can confirm that this works on the RZR rear and front axles?

Unfortunately, we don't have application data for a RZR vehicle, but the 63mm or 2-inch diameters are suitable. The 1/2" wide opening accommodates sizes that are larger than average.

I'd like to know the thickness of the inner plate. Is it a quarter or an eighth?

The plate has a depth of 7mm and a thickness of 7mm. Please refer to the second image on the Amazon product page for all dimensions.

Is it only available in this size? Is it possible to get wider or narrower openings?

On a 2007 Passat AT 4 cyl, this one worked perfectly

I used a slide hammer on the drivers side axle as directed, and the axle came loose after a few short slides of the weight on the slidehammer. I gently but firmly tapped this puller adapter into position as a "wedge" between the transmission and the axle cv joint on the passenger side, and the axle came free. I don't believe the smaller version of this adapter would have worked, so I recommend purchasing this one instead. In terms of saving time and aggravation, it is well worth the money.

On a Toyota Tacoma, this product will not work

This is a nice tool, but it won't fit in a Toyota Tacoma because the opening is too small.

The problem with the other puller adapters not being able to clear the metal dust shield on the CV axle has been resolved

I couldn't get the new CV axle with the metal shield off because I couldn't remove it. I used the other 'normal' sized CV axle puller adapters I had to remove the CV axles without the metal dust shield and they worked fine. However, the metal shield on the new replacement CV axle I brought didn't fit in the tight spot, and the normal sized adapter couldn't get it out. WORKED LIKE A CHARM WITH THIS ADAPTER WITH THE WIDE OPENING! It's also thinner than the others, so I was able to fit it between the CV axle and the transmission with ease.

GM transaxles do not have this issue

The 4T60 and 4T65 transmissions are not compatible. These tranny half shafts must be pried with a rolling pry bar.

This tool is something I'd like to keep on hand in the future. I've been replacing a few CVs and decided to get it to make things easier. I haven't had the opportunity to use it yet, but it appears to be a good match for my OTC slide hammer.
