The only thing I can think of is It may help to know that I also pulled the rear bearings on my Sonoma 4WD when I purchased this set. These tools functioned as expected and appear to be of decent quality. The investment was well worth it in my opinion.
With our 10 lb OTC 7703 set, we used a 5992. With its 5/8-inch-long blade, it is ideal for pulling up sliding slides at an angle OTC pulling attachments are designed to adapt to the 18 threaded end.
This tool is suitable for my GM rear axle bearings. It was able to remove both the bearing as well as the seal all at once. If you are only looking to remove the seal, you will require

This product worked without a problem to remove the bearings and seals in my 1991 Full Size Chevy Blazer, I used it with the OTC (7703) 10 lb. Puller" is a tool that pulls metal slides. If you use 10 lbs, I recommend that you do so. Using the 5 Lb. Hammer would be more challenging since it would be more difficult to slide it on. This is a sliding hammer. A small issue I did encounter was breaking the bad bearing by starting with the smallest puller, however the middle-size puller was the correct one I would start with the largest puller first, then work your way down until you find the right It was a simple job when I used the correct middle size puller.
Using the program is very easy. The price for the quality of the service was excellent. A puller set provided by OTC was utilized to remove the rear axle bearings and wheels My 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 no longer has any seals. I am very pleased with the results! In addition to the OTC Puller Set, I also bought the slide hammer set, rear axle bearings, rear axle seals, differential oil, and Lube Locker differential cover gasket from Amazon. It was easy to justify the purchase by the money I saved by ordering all of these items from Amazon and doing the work myself (rather than taking my truck to an automotive shop). As a result, I can do jobs for myself, family members and friends in the future. My purchase of the OTC 7494A Puller Set has been very satisfying and I would highly recommend it to anyone.
Having read the reviews, I have decided not to use them for the purpose I had in mind. I would need to make modifications to these in order for them to work, as advised by most of the reviews. This project was about a rear axle bearing in a 2003 Ford F150. truck's bearings had 140 thousand miles on them, original to the vehicle. With this product, I am able to pull out bearings without any problems. Take note I mated them to a 5 lb. foot pump. Hammer with a slide.
I was able to pull the axle seals out of a Ford 8-inch rear end with no problems. To use it, you will need the slide hammer they recommend ($90). You can also use an old sledge hammer head as a slide hammer by picking up some thread that is all the same pitch.
With this kit, I was able to replace the rear axle seals and wheels bearings on a 2004 Trailblazer. Use of the medium sized puller that is provided in the kit was required. It was easy for me to pull both the seal and bearing at the same time, and it did not fall out. Using a 10 lb. weight, I lifted the weight. Hammer for sliding.
This tool was amazing in that it delivered faster than it promised, there was no problem with the purchase, delivery, and set up at all Despite the tool's functionality, I am very pleased with the repairs I was able to make to my towncar.
Adding this to my OTC bearing and pulley puller will be perfect. On my 66, I used the kit for the axle bearings. I liked it a lot. It is wonderful to be able to buy.
I have used it a few times already with perfect results.
Does seem sturdy enough for a vivid DIY, and though it will have to be used correctly, should hold up in.
