I don't feel cheap while using it. My cast iron heads were rusted over 17 years and needed to be replaced when I replaced an O2 sensor on my truck. By extending the breaker bar and using an extension, this tool effectively broke free the old O2 sensor. Neither a split nor a deformation is apparent.
It is horrible to have this Maybe I'll be able to put it to good use sometime. I didn't think it was worth returning to.
In the beginning, the size of the first one was not right, but after an exchange, the new size was perfect.
I bought both kinds because I didn't like the looks of these. This is far better than the socket type and it was half the price. I didn't expect it to work, but it worked perfectly.
I've had problems with O2 sensors in the past. A 3/8" drive is used for traditional O2 sensors. There are two 1/2" drive wrenches in this set. I installed it on my wife's Subaru with no problems.
I used it to replace the upstream sensor in my 2010 Honda CRV, and it worked perfectly. There was an offset one I had, but it wouldn't I can get in there and replace it with this one since it has just the right thickness.
Replacement is on the way. I bent the product as soon as I applied pressure to remove the old 02 sensor, as shown in the photo, as the tool is bent and no longer functional. *Editor's note Seller contacted me and is sending me a replacement, so I have given 3 stars. Support from the customer service was excellent.
So far I have not used these, but they seem durable.
