I needed a 6 point deep well socket because I had rounded the corners of the part I was working on. It did work well for removing the old part, but it wasn't long enough to go over the entire length of it. A standard problem, I had to cut the wires and thread the stubs through the socket tool head in order to be able to grip the part. Another common issue, I had to heat the part with a propane torch in order to remove it. It was successful in the end. The tool would have worked better if it were a little longer.

Unacceptable product. There is approximately 1/2" [13mm] of length that is too short so that it cannot be used on most vehicles Due to the longer height of the heated O2 sensors, they are only really useful as a paperweight, as they are much longer than the old non-heated sensors. With the longer socket, you can use both types at the same time without having to use two and wasting space. Unfortunately I will have to go with the Crowsfoot type.

Nonetheless, I worked on the replacement for a short period of time (not long enough).

It is well made and has a fair price. In his opinion, it would have been a disaster without this one small tool. It took him about 15 minutes to remove the old sensor and replace it with the new one. It was for this reason that I contacted the dealership to find out how much to replace the sensor would cost. The firm wanted $725 for the work, I love it! With the sensor (also purchased from Amazon), he did the job for less than $65 total. You should definitely give it a try!.

Because of its failure, it was required to be replaced. found a YouTube video on how to do it myself and decided to do it myself. Having ordered this socket and Bosch sensor from O'Reilly, I received a free calibration. In my case, it only took 15 minutes to replace the fuel pump and reset the That's all there is to it. The cost of fixing my car was 78 dollars. has already proven itself to be a valuable investment. I am very pleased with this.

There was a time when they thought the package would be lost from the merchant because it was weeks late. After getting it, I put it on my O2 sensor and it was too loose and very tall. I didn't want it touching the frame, so I left it off. It seemed like a good idea to cut the O2 wires and put a 7/8 box in there It was easy to back out with the backed-out wrench.

My 00 M5 did not work with this. O2 sensor has a butt end and the socket has a lip on the inside which prevented it from going over. I ran to the store to buy another socket that worked perfectly and this one did not. I was in the middle of changing sensors.

It worked perfectly. It is a great tool, and I cannot complain about it. The price is right, and the quality is excellent as well. Yes, I would recommend this tool to anyone who likes to work on their car(s) in their.
