The best use for this is to install rather than remove

An ideal installation tool for new oxygen sensors However, removing an old one can be a bit of a pain. There is a true 22 mm socket here. To remove a stubborn 7/8" bolt (about 21. 5" long. ) results in the old bolt getting jammed into In that case, you have to crawl back out from under the car, loosen the nut, and then return A good rule of thumb is not to overtighten! It would be better to cut the wires and remove them with a deep 22mm socket or an open 22mm wrench.

During my O2 sensor upgrade, both downstream and upstream sensors failed This tool is a must to make your life a bit easier if you are replacing all four plugs on both sides of the exhaust. Those suckers are tight and need quite a bit of muscle to be pulled out, even a breaker.

Unlike an auto store, it is cheaper. There was a fifteen dollar charge at O'Reilly's. It worked well for one sensor and does not work for my preamp This sensor measures the cat 02 level. It was necessary to purchase a socket oxygen sensor in order to remove the As I was removing, I rounded the edge a bit, and I had to bend it more than it did. Obtainable at a reasonable price.

What I liked The oxygen sensor can be tightly attached to the electrode. It's dislikable that A full socket provides more torque, but not as much. My 2011 Hyundai Elantra had an upstream oxygen sensor that needed to be replaced, and I used this to replace it. It will be recommended.
