In this case, the description is 100% accurate. A wide end and a thin end is provided on every one, and no batteries are needed. In our experience, these bags are able to hold a variety of things, including bird seed, fuel, oil, undiluted liquids, etc. They are thick enough to be sturdy under normal conditions, but they are not too fragile. Pennzoil's yellow funnel with its sticker has no problems, although it does appear to be a little dirty.
