Yes, I have a compressed nitrogen air system in my RV. I have no problem with that!
Despite not having metal valve stems, mine works as it should. The trailer I took with me traveled more than 3000 miles from Michigan to Florida. I have never experienced any problems with this TPMS system. My previous system was more difficult to install and came with a lot more trouble in the past. This one is much easier to install and less problematic. The product is 5 stars in my book.
To mount the Velcro strips on the windshield, mine came with Velcro strips. In other words, it is versatile and can be used on

Occasionally, I forget to check my tire pressure when I tow, so I've been thinking about buying a tire pressure monitoring system. I know you should do it every time you start towing in the morning, but I don't always do it. The TPMS is easy to install and does an excellent job of indicating if your tires are running hot or if you have developed a leak. There are extra adhesive strips included in the kit (in case someone wants to remount the monitor. 1) I liked this system because it came with just two sensors, as opposed to having to buy extras that I may not use. There is also an LED display that beeps if the tire pressure drops below a set level, and it shows the battery level and if it is charging in In addition to mounting it outdoors, you can also hardwire it in a location with little or no sun exposure. Lock nuts are great for the sensor, they keep it from falling off and working loose. It's not that I'm worried about theft, but it keeps it The sensors were removed, the battery was taken out, and they went in the glove compartment. In this case, I do not need to know the tire pressure if it is at home.
It came just before I was going to tow my travel trailer on an 8-foot trailer The trip to Colorado is an interstate trip of about an hour. I wanted to be able to monitor my trailer tires due to the constantly changing weather, altitude, and temperature conditions. In the first one I used on a counter in the kitchen, the LCDs worked fine, but once I stuck it to my windshield and pulled out of the garage, half of the LCDs It appears that when the solar panel was producing a charge, it cut off about half of the LCD display, so it was impossible to read the I was still able to use the alarms, just not fully, but I was able to imagine how useful this device would be if it worked As I contacted Amazon returns via the chat channel, I was skeptical as to how the outcome would be, but the operator I spoke with was courteous and professional and provided me with both another unit AND a return label right away. However, I have not yet taken the unit on a trip, but it seems to be working properly and the LCDs are all working properly, even in direct sunlight. In my first trip, when I got to higher altitude and the temperature dropped, I had to increase the tire pressure on my trailer, which put them under pressure and triggered an alarm when I arrived While the pressure display on the unit did not display the tire pressure, I was able to see if I was under the minimum tire pressure once I hooked up my 12 volt tire pump to the trailer's tires. I pumped air into the tires right away. In the return leg, where the elevation was lower and the temperatures higher, the alarm sounded again, and it appears the pressure had risen I can really imagine how convenient it would have been to see a real-life example of the types of batteries The time has been During my trip, the trailer tire pressure and temperature were not displayed on the display, so I put in a return and replacement request with Amazon. Even with my 12-foot pole I would have to drag out my 12-foot trailer To pump a compressor that runs on voltage- Obviously, I would have to pump up the tires, but I would know ahead of time what the problem was, which would ease my stress. As an example, suppose you picked up a nail and started getting a slow leak in your tire. This device would tell you before your tire went completely flat and destroyed your rim. It's worse now. It seems only fitting that this solar-powered trailer tire is made in China. As a guy (who understands these things) told me, nearly all trailer tires in the US are made in China, and many of them fail (often catastrophically) at the most unexpected time. Chinese producers also make TPMS units for trailers with powerful motors. Because of the information it provided, I would have rated this five out of five stars, if the first unit had functioned properly The display is rich and the utility is excellent. There is a peace of mind that comes with *If you receive this, be sure to test it by wiring your sending units to your trailer's valve stems, charging the unit via a micro-USB cable, and then turning the trailer on. I recommend you plug it into the USB port for a half hour and then stand it directly in the sun before sticking it to the windshield because the double-sided tape won't stick in the sunlight The side of the sticky tape is incredibly sticky, and it is impossible to remove from the inside of a The second unit was outside in direct sunlight, so I returned inside after checking the second one. My trailer was in the driveway and the garage was between the kitchen and the trailer, but the unit read the temperature and pressure of the trailer tires more than 40 feet away, without a This might have been just a display of the last reading. If I had thought about it before affixing it to my windshield, I would have removed one of the sensors from a trailer tire to see if the lack of pressure had triggered the alarm from outside our kitchen while the unit was still on our counter over forty Despite this, I was getting alarms and I was communicating with the sending units without the signal booster on my trip with the defective unit. The only trailer I have is a 15 foot one, and the car is a mid-sized A mid-size SUV covered 22 feet between the sensors and the display unit, so there were not many obstacles between them. It is my hope that this review aids your decision when deciding whether to buy this product. If you found it helpful, please Thanks so much.
It was easy to set up. It is highly recommended because of the peace of mind that comes with it. The instructions can be improved by describing how to convert from Fahrenheit to Celsius in detail. My call to the manufacturer proved to be efficient because they told me how to make the change and seemed surprised that I recommended an update to their manual.
I had these on my travel trailer as I travelled down the road. There is an alarm going There was no problem with the tires, but the signal from the transmitter to the receiver was lost. It was a faulty one, and had to be reset. I'm not able to do that. As soon as I got home and removed the transmitters, I had to reinstall them Put them all together again and follow all the steps. When we returned from our next trip, other transmitters lost their signal, and our As of now, I have taken them off the trailer and don't think I will use.
A joy to have peace of mind while towing our Jayco Hummingbird! Installation of the transmitter to connect to ignition switch power took a few hours. Definitely worth the money!.
Getting this right the very first time saved us a lot of trouble! Although the tire on the trailer was falling fast, we were able to halt due to the warning and not damage it further. I strongly recommend this book!.
The 17-year-old I bought this for had nothing to do with it I have been using it since the day I first installed it, and it has worked great. The issue with the signal is not caused by the repeater, which I did not install. In addition to the solar power, it is also charged by the sun.
The device was simple to set up and the readings are accurate after six months. A tire monitor tells you when the air levels are too low when it detects natural tire loss.
