In my opinion, I have not tested this and I therefore cannot confirm that it is true. In response to a request, we have added information to the manual regarding Boost Charging and floating charging, which was not present before. The rating has been updated to 5 STARS! Several things were not up to scratch for me! I gave it a 2 star rating only due to a few disappointing things. In the first place, there is no communication software, and neither is there a cable or CD drive! The second issue is the slow response time of the support team. A communication option such as wifi or Bluetooth is not available. In the manual, the Boost charging is poorly written, making it very difficult to understand how it works with only a 900 minute timer. I am unable to understand the difference between LF4/LF5/LF6, as well as the lithium choices. This product may be manufactured by POWMR, but it is hard to contact support. I emailed them but did not receive a My only recommendation is NOT to recommend this product unless it communicates with me and helps me with my concern. I am thinking of returning it.

All in one unit at a great price! Installed in a matter of minutes. The wiring is easy with 8 wires and the instructions are in good English. I use a computer system with $10,000 worth of menus, and those menus are spelled out in numbers instead of words. It only needs to be set a few parameters once even if the power is turned off. It is this device and a few 200w solar panels that make my RV all electric. Because this small unit has both a controller and an inverter built in, the process of installation is simplified. The battery used was a 48v Li-Ion The panels are powered by a PO4 battery. You should not exceed the controller's open circuit voltage limit because you'll be connecting the panels in series. Parallel to each other, I have two series. Using this device, you can start charging before dawn with 130 volts.
