Four of these were installed in place of my stock stabilizer jacks. It's amazing how much difference there is. The lightweight jacks that came with the trailer eventually bent over time (the wrong kind of jacks for the There is nothing like these scissor jacks in terms of quality or performance. The tire chock wheel stabilizers sound like a promising product, so I want to try them out to see how much more they improve the situation.
The front of my travel trailer now has more stability when docked thanks to these stabilizers. We have achieved our goal. When they are cranked up they have ample ground clearance since they have a low profile. In order for the installation to be completed, I had to drill holes in my frame and get some hardware from Ace Hardware. It is recommended that you take it to an auto mechanic if you aren't comfortable about doing this yourself. It is recommended that you use at least grade 5 hardware.
As a point of reference, my trailer measures 22' x 8' and weighs around I could not live without the speed handle that comes with it. The fact that it's the same size as my OEM stabilizer jacks is a bonus.
I like the product, but I'm not happy with the delivery service. When it was delivered on our painted wood porch, it had ripped two parts of the box clear through, and when slid across the floor, all of the paint underneath was scraped off. (This was clearly visible in our surveillance It was a great product, but it was delivered poorly.
I purchased these to replace the electric stabilizer which had failed. There was one existing hole on each side and one hole had to be drilled on each side. However, these ones are a lot more stable than the electric ones, so I am replacing the front ones as well if they go out in the future.

Mechanics had been forced into a dirt bank, causing the old ones to break. **The replacement units are heavier than the original OEM units, and seem a lot better constructed than the original ones. I had the good fortune that I didn't have to drill any holes to install the new jacks. If you are in need of stabilizer jacks to replace OEM components, then these are the ones you should opt for.
There are no problems with these at all. For my 32' motorhome, I purchased two sets. This is something I am looking forward to installing. I like how the action works, it's smooth and easy. The product comes with a long hand crank so you can easily use it. The long extension I bought is going to work well with my handheld drill driver, but I should always have a back-up in case I forget to charge it.
There is a slight difference between what comes off the camper and the part that hooks onto the camper. A bit disappointing, but not disastrous. Punch the holes into place and line them up with the holes in the punching die. That's just the way it is with such a part. I don't see the problem. Use a punch when you need to.
