It does what it is supposed to. As soon as the extension cord was wired in, I pressed the extend/retract switch and hooked it up. Connection to the jack with the allen head screws worked perfectly. I tested the motor, it operated as expected. In some cases, you may have to reverse the wires if the motor runs at the opposite end of the The one I bought should last for a long time, so I won't have to buy another one for a long time. I'd buy it.
I can use it without any problems. The motor had to be spaced from the mounting surface with spacers.
I ordered this motor to replace my Lippert stabilizer (413407) on the back of my It is perfectly sized, but you will need to save your old screws for mounting since it does not come with any. This replacement part is very easy to install and works very well. There is also a mud flap that I will install in front of the new one to protect it from the wet and grime coming off my trailer wheels, which is the reason these things almost exclusively fail at the rear but not at.
The product is a direct replacement for original equipment manufacturers. My only complaint is that it is slower and weaker than Original Equipment Manufacturer. For the price, this is a good product.
A jack stabilizer motor in my RV had failed. I used this item to replace it. I'm not too unhappy with the workmanship, but my only complaint is that the electric cord enters the motor all the way at one end, so it is exposed to debris as I drive. As a result of my redesign, the cord came into the motor housing parallel with the side of the motor housing. This allowed it to be wrapped around the motor housing for greater.
I bought it on Amazon because it was much less expensive than at the RV shop and it works exactly as well. It was a great buy and I am very pleased with it.
We decided to repair it and save the money, and amazingly, it arrived earlier than expected and worked fine!.
You'll need to keep the mounting hardware, which is There is a 2" difference in length between this motor and the original, which makes it stick out farther, and it draws more amps. Taking the legs of the stabilizer up and down is no problem. If my circuit breaker trips when my legs make contact with the ground after being placed under load, then the circuit is tripped.
