The scissor jacks are meant to support large RVs and large trailers that may easily exceed the capacity of these On my very small trailer, I have one of these mounted on the front. I'm using my small truck to tow it with it. By doing so, it's removing the weight from the rear suspension. I really like the way it works. If I were to guess, the trailer weighs about 800 pounds when fully loaded. Here are some of the good things This seems to be a very good quality product. The moment I inspect them, I am instantly impressed. Ensure that both the hinges and the threaded rods are lubricated with dry lube. Lifting and lowering it is no longer as difficult. Let's take a look at what's not so good There is a terrible quality to the screws that come with the kit. This metal seems poorly made, and there are voids in it. Using 3/8" grade 8 bolts with prevailing torque nuts was my solution.
It was a mistake of mine to order only two We got the shoes fast, but the holes didn't line up very well, making them a bit annoying to put on. This is nothing to be concerned about. My new holes were able to be used along with two existing holes that I had already drilled. With the jacks were the drill socket to screw in the new jack screws, the drill socket to raise and lower the jacks, and a crank handle to raise and lower them. It was so much easier to handle than OEM RV jacks and the base plate was so large that it made them very stable. A number of places were out of stock of the 2 jacks we wanted for the rear.
Although, I just received an email notification from Walmart that the items were back in stock, so I checked Amazon and they were all still available! Ours came four days earlier than expected because I ordered them up. I was surprised to find two white sticker templates showing lines where the holes should align this time around. It served as the drill bit for drilling It was very kind of you to include this. I saved a great deal of time and headache by using this. The new jacks were even easier to install drilling and mounting them took me a fraction of the time! This would be my top recommendation. They bounce almost no more than the others. It isn't enough to get just two make sure you get 4.
I replaced the worn out rear jacks on my 27-foot trailer with these new ones. I can tell a big difference because I am using a Forest River Travel Trailer. The mounting holes of these jacks do not match those of my old ones, which is why I deducted 1 star. I had to drill new mounting holes to secure to the frame, but it's not a big deal. In order to get them into the trailer, you will need (2) drill sockets, a crank handle, and bolts. The jacks offered here are of a higher quality than the original OEM jacks. Purchasing this product is well worth it. No one can possibly go wrong with this!.
The mat prevents my wife from shaking when I walk across the floor of the camper. It's a good value for the money.
Two have been installed on my camper for the past few weeks, and I can definitely recommend them. A simple process for opening and closing. This is a very well-made product. It is nice that they have a large base plate, which makes them more stable when laying on the ground.
I really like how big your foot is! This is fantastic! This is not a block of wood, etc. , and it is very well The mounting hardware should be good. Even the sockets for your impact driver are included.
I can't believe the difference between the stock stabilizers and the Big Foot stabilizers. Weighing roughly the same as the stock, it is sturdy, makes a great upgrade from the stock thanks to its large footprint and durability. In terms of installation, I was fortunate in that the Big Foot stabilizers aligned perfectly with the ones I removed, so no drilling was required. In addition, I was able to reuse the old stabilizers because they were bolted in place, so I could use them for the new Big Foots. I was done in less than forty minutes It takes 50 minutes for all four to be installed.
The item was as described, the transaction was easy, and I would buy it again.
