Even though I was only looking for the jack, I got everything for the same price as I would have paid for the jack alone.

The weight of Jack is very low. Having a service truck that I can climb in and out of and carry the jack with one hand is a great advantage for me. A Chevy 2500 can be tire changed with a lifting height of about 30 inches . It has been a while since I have used the stands.

The 3 ton "Jack Pack" came with aluminum stands, which cost about $80 separately if purchased separately. I thought it was a good value since the packs come with the stands. That was a mistake I made. There are lower quality stands included with the package than those listed on Amazon, Sunex #1003AJ with the exact same part number. It is nearly impossible to adjust the height since the adjustment pins are small in diameter and length. The pedestal base is attached to the upright portion of the stand by only one 8mm bolt and lock washer, but barely fits because the tapped hole in the upright is If purchased separately, the stands are stronger, have a larger height adjustment pin, as well as a long crossbolt that goes all the way through the base and is secured with a nylock nut eight millimeters in diameter. It is much better and definitely more secure this way. As a result, I purchased a second set of stands and compared them to the first set. It was a monumental waste of time to call Sunex customer service since they claimed there was no difference, even though the parts diagram included with the stands proved otherwise.

The Sunnex jack I bought is for me to use in my garage for me to do With nearly 30 years of experience as a truck/auto mechanic, I have seen my fair share of accidents The On/Matco brand of That jack is almost the same as the one I was going to get from Snap-On Although the Sunnex was the greater value, the On was about $600 more expensive. My Sunnex jack is great and I'd recommend it to anyone, along with the Sunnex jack stands. Even though the jack does pump up a little slower than I'd like, it works just fine. I like the smooth rolling of the aluminum body on my concrete floor. It's straight and level. Because of the side handle and the easy to remove jack handle, you can store in a small area, and move it anywhere you like. The jack is great once again.

The jack and the stands were defective in different ways. I was disappointed that the Sunex logo was not included on the foam and that the pump handle is a little wobbly. I think everything seems to be functioning well, although there are a few defects. If it weren't for them, I would give it a better rating. If I had spent just $200, I could have had a similar set You can pick up Harbor Freight at any time. This is my own purchase, however. In my case, it appears that the return belongs to someone else.

This aluminum floor jack is designed for loading wooden floor crates In spite of its relatively low price, it is a solidly built to last machine.
