It says 3 tons on the packaging, but the maximum capacity is 7000 lbs when you start to go over 6000 lbs, there is a possibility of blowing a seal, so the packaging says 3 tons, but it will go as high as Although it is feasible to transport 5 tons of water, it is not recommended to transport more than 3 tons. is a solid piece of equipment. I mean, it's made of super heavy duty materials! If you're weak, you won't be able to handle this jack. The weight of it is impressive! It feels like I'm close to 80 lbs. This jack seems to have been made for garage usage due to its weight since it is so heavy. I wanted it for my trunk, but it is a bit of a hassle to use and it is awkward to utilize. It's working 1000xs better than the one I bought at AutoZone so far and I love the way it looks. The only thing I wish it weighed less is that it is heavy. Purchasing this product was hassle-free, the delivery was fast, and I had no problems at all. The first impression is good.
Jack is made in China and is good quality. Quality of the product is excellent. I had to add oil to the wheels of the jack and it worked much better after I did that? It is the only complaint I have. I don't think it's made in the US! In other words, it's heavy but not so bad, also not a true 3 ton (lifts a new Edge Mustang, but not very The lifts for Subie Forster are no problem at all.
Jack that is super durable. If you receive items from shipping, be sure to inspect them carefully. You can see from the picture that the mechanism they use to hold the lift off has no instructions for removal (not that hard, just be careful) as it pinched my finger and led to splinters. That is a great jack, but you have to be cleverer than that.
