I bought a garage car stop, so I don't know that much about it
You're right, there are two channels that run along the length of the wall. In the photo, if you look closely, you can see the tops on the sides. Each has a gauge cord, maybe even an 8-gauge cord Cable for welders of gauge.
I walked over to our speed bumps and I don't think they have any holes large enough to fit a garden hose of a standard size. I think a smaller size might work.

Used, I purchased this product with a significant discount ($40, I think) and it exceeded my expectations. I thought it looked relatively new coming out of the box. br>br>I think the application I am making for this product is a little Having recently had vinyl fencing installed, I noticed that there was a large gap between the bottom of my paving stones and the top of the There were no problems getting little animals through the gap and getting into the yard. The installer suggested installing a speed bump, and it was exactly the type of device that would work. The blockade stops animals from gaining access to the gate by plugging up the gap under the gate. I did return this item with no problem as it was exactly what I ordered and wanted, but I wasn't able to use it for the reason purchased so I returned it.

In my opinion, 2" inches isn't enough to slow folks down if you do plan to do so! The time has come for something much higher to be thought of.
The fire station activity was no problem at all!.
Our garage works great with it. It was exactly what we expected.
