Questions & Answers

Is this something you experienced as well? Did your magnet give out within 60 days of purchase?

I have been working for three I don't think you need to replace it. You can replace it or reboot A second magnet should be placed on it to make it magnetic.

In this case, it says 2 sets. In other words, did they mean you received a set of 2 holders or four ?

It is not necessary to have two pieces per set. As long as the hook is on the mirror, it will remain there. The plastic sleeve is easy to put on and held in place by a magnet. The product is great

Is it possible to fit a North Carolina handicap placard here?

It is likely that NC placards will fit most other states if they fall within one or two states. There are approximately the same number of states in most states.

What is the effect of the magenta on ?

The magnet it contains is strong enough to hold up the placard, yet not strong enough to make it impossible to remove it. I have not encountered any problems with it being so strong that it interferes with the EZ Pass signal.

Despite its one star, do not let it fool you
3/5

It isn't the 1 star that fools you. I initially loved this product and caveat emptor means don't go by it. These are the same ones I bought in 2016 and mounted one on our 03 Jeep Sahara and the other on our Ford F250 Super duty As this is the most serious problem with these mirror hangers and many newer vehicles, I decided to include the models. There is a magnetic connection between them! Another vehicle we own is an Eddie Bauer Explorer, in which we never used these holders if we did, then the same problem would have arisen. Is there a problem you want to discuss? Compass compasses are no longer functional because of the magnets! In the beginning, I was very impressed with the ease of attaching these holders and how they looked I reattached it. Having spent countless hours trying to figure out why the compasses failed in both vehicles, I spent countless more trying to solve this mystery. It took me a number of hours to calibrate the F250 per the manufacturer's instructions, driving around in circles repeatedly. As it simply displayed "# # # # #" on the screen, I assumed that the Jeep simply froze in the cold winter in Northern Idaho. I just discovered the solution when I just hung the hanger on the Jeep in full 75 degree sun and the compass once again failed to work. As you can see, I removed the hanger in the F250 and it calibrated in less than two For those of you who have a newer vehicle, you likely already have a compass, but don't worry about the holders if you just rely on that compass.

This is a very good The magnet strength holds up and the holder does not warp in high temperatures
5/5

This is a very good The magnet strength holds up and the holder does not warp in high temperatures. The holder was purchased to replace my father's standard plastic hook holder which kept breaking off its hook. I got this type of holder both because there wouldn't be as much stress on the hook part and because it's easier to put on and take off with a magnet.
This did turn out to be true. I was just looking for the right gimmick - combining magnets with a magic Even though the magnet is strong enough, it has held intact for several hours to overnight when hung on the hook. Strong direct sunlight and high temperatures are also included in this. In, car 130) and strong In this case there was some tinting on the factory windows, but not dark tinting. It works really well for my father, and he especially appreciates how easy it is to put it on and take Our practice led us to the discovery that the best way to ensure it stays on 100% of the time is to make sure to grab the magnet with as much surface area The pieces can then be separated easily and without struggle by simply twisting and tugging them. Getting the hook on and off of the rear mirror stem is much easier for my father, since he doesn't have to fight with it. The spare (there are two in a pack) was given to his girlfriend, since he liked it so much. Furthermore, she found that the card holder was beneficial as well. It's also well worth the cost for ease of use and quality as it can almost be described as a two for one product. I am very satisfied with the product after a few months of use and the seller delivered the product on time and in the manner I am happy with my purchase.

This product is so good that my old one was stolen! A replacement set
5/5

(I have this. These holders of handicap permit cards may be able to help spread the word that in some states (like mine), driving with your (fairly large) handicap placard hanging from the rear view mirror is against the law Only when the car is parked should it be displayed. I'm sure most of us who need a little extra help managing to get around would agree with that. Here is my second set of these holders and I am very pleased with them. The ones I used to have in my cars were In one instance, we lost our handicap placards in a collision and the towing company never returned them. In the second instance, ours was damaged in a flood. The car was stolen from the driveway by someone breaking in! As a result of regular use, these protectors prevent your placard from getting mangled around the loop. (My state has only used All you need to do is click! **If you explore the site, you'll be able to find "spare" hangers without the card holders, in case you have more cars than ****Please note that the magnetic hanging part might not fit 100% of all cars (we had one car where the rear view mirror arm was too thick for the hanger), in which case place the protected card on the dashboard when you park the car and use the hook part in another car. For those who have difficulty getting around in their car and sometimes even with their own cars, these little items can make everything a bit easier. When you have enough little things like this one, you won't miss out on having a better day than The price was well worth it.

This is such a great idea! We will use this as a replacement This was used for many years before it finally began to crack after having been used in Florida consistently for too long
5/5

Each day, the interior of the car reached well over 150 degrees! It was cold in our home, so we bought it and used it. A crack was just starting to appear around the edges and bottom of the placard holder. Even if it could have been taped, we probably would have used it for several more years, but we decided to replace it since we know we will continue to abuse it with the There are many great products out there, but this one stands out. We have tried others and this one is our favorite! I really like this setup because it is so easy to install and move between cars. The old expired placard has to be turned in to get a new one in my state - the clerks are always amazed at the condition the old placard is in each time - since the old one has to expire. After the hanging hook breaks off, the placard is not warped, cracked, broken, etc, because it has been placed on the dash! It's just a matter of smiling and telling them how awesome our placard holder is.
