The cannister is well-made, but the pressure regulator, as others have pointed out, is a piece of junk. br>It's disappointing that it's so difficult to adjust, and it occasionally spits out inject-r kleen fluid at you. The rest of the kit is fine, but why don't you include an induction cleaning fogger, OTC? Why don't you even provide one? On the plus side, if you can live with the drawbacks, it works once you get it set up properly. I would have returned it if I had the time to do so without it making money.
This tool is required for cleaning fuel injector systems in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. There are many different fuel systems in the world, and the adapters included in this kit did not fit my vehicles. However, I was able to purchase the correct ones, and the tool works perfectly. It would be preferable if we could order the adapters for the vehicles we intend to clean.
On the first use, the gauge overflowed with fluid and dripped all over the engine. Amazon was notified, and I returned it to them. On this, the craftsmanship is HORRIBLE. I did request a replacement and am hopeful that this one will work. It should be absolutely flawless for the price. br>Recent changes: Amazon performed admirably. They covered the cost of return and promptly sent a replacement that works! The only drawback is that the new kit includes an adapter for GM vehicles, which I tried to use on the Tahoe and it broke. OTC tools, I'm guessing, are low-cost. junk of high quality based on such low quality- control. This is a kit that I would not recommend. Instead, look for a kit from a competitor.
I have a ministry in my garage where I work on cars (for donations only) that I have used four times and it has helped the cars run smoothly. Note that I used Sea Foam straight from the can and waited 20 minutes after the engine stalled before restarting it; the engine will be a little difficult to restart at first, but don't worry; go for a drive in the car and put the pedal to the floor; you will notice your engine performance improving as the days pass.
1 simple DIY adapter was exactly what I needed. I'll be able to connect my vehicle with my fuel pressure test adapters.
