Questions & Answers

Can you tell me how thick it is?

There is a thin layer of coverage material (PVC). Based on my experience, I'd say 2 About 3 million. It has edges that are about one inch I have, however, been surprised at how durable it has proved to be.

Do you think this would work on a pebbled driveway outside? It is not perfectly smooth on the driveway A little bit of texture is present. Are you able to cut the product to the size you require?

Typically, this product is installed in a garage to hold snow, ice, and water drops that come off a vehicle in the Winter. The mat should not be used outside and should not be used on an uneven or greasy surface. There are no cuts allowed for these mats, since they are created in one piece with raised edges.

Does the containment edge have a thick or thin ?

During summertime, the heat can be intense Each edge of the welded seam is about 1 inch wide. A 25" thick sheet of paper.

The head of the squeegee has a pole included, right?

Neither pole nor squeegee were attached to the job.

I use it and it works fine
5/5

My favorite part of it is the picture. My husband and I used to "carpet" our garage floor with cardboard every fall, and then we would remove the soaked mess every The problem is, cardboard has become so expensive that I can't get free refrigerator boxes anymore because appliances come in styrofoam and shrink-wrapped All wrapped up. Emptying the mat is easy since there are two options. The best way to clean a shop is to use a shop vacuum. The mat comes with a floor squeegee that you must use to clean it. It was difficult to choose between the two, but I chose a I would have to change to the wet filter on the vacuum, empty the filter and clean it when done, and maintain the filter over time. It took me 25 minutes to back out the car, pull the mat to the edge of the garage, squeegee the water, mop up the dirt using an old beach towel (rag quality), reposition the mat, and drive the car back We may pull the mat out onto the driveway and wash it there with a bucket of dishwater in nice weather. The summer months are a great time to roll the awning up. There will be no time limit on when I will leave it up. The floor is much cleaner when using it. There are reviews on Amazon that complain about the wrinkles that Having it full of water stops it from forming a big puddle and flooding the edge when it is full. It does not bother me if there are some wrinkles. Because I park my car on top of the mat in the garage, they cannot be seen, and I am not inviting interior designers over to critique the There were some reviews that complained about the mat moving Twice I have experienced it "wrinkling. " It occurs when I turn the wheel to place the car on the mat as I drive into the garage. I don't experience this problem if I idle into the garage rather than line up before entering. If you purchase one, make sure to get one that is the recommended width. If it's too wide, you will have to step into water to get in Furthermore, there is no handle on the squeegee. As a result, I suggest using wood handles so the squeegee can be secured with a screw as well as using the adjustment fitting at the top of the tool.

This is the ideal solution to protect everything from rain, mud, and snow in your garage! I bought a second one after the first one worked so well! Because we live in Colorado's mountains, we park our cars inside the garage with snow and mud covered tires and cars in our garage for several months at a time
5/5

This mat does an amazing job of trapping the moisture in our garage, so it doesn't get destroyed!.

It was great how prompt the customer service was with delivery and answering questions about installation
5/5

I did not unroll it inside for 5 days because of creases, but it was excellent service during the delivery process. Materials with a high density. Sides that are sturdy. The customer service representative was able to give some quick information about which side should face down this Saturday morning when I called the phone number listed on Amazon. (Tammy, I appreciate your kind words. As the smooth side is slipperier, put it down so the duller side is up, so walking on it is less likely to cause an accident. If we had put the smooth side up since it looked easier to clean, we would have got it wrong. Its squeegee is a softer, wider material than the ones we have now and looks like it will work well. It has an attached clamp with a screw as well, which is nice since none of our other squeegees have one. We'll unroll it, use it, clean it, store it in the spring, and fix this up in the fall.

Good quality for the price
5/5

Durable and thick. I really like the way these work! The prices are cheaper, but there are reviews that show they are not Paying a bit more for a thicker, more durable plastic will keep you more satisfied. They do exactly what they are supposed to. These work perfectly and I have a dry garage this year because I got them. There are a lot of snow melt and mud accumulations in Hols. There are sticky velcro adhesive patches attached, but I did not have a sealed floor, so I bought the recommended double sided industrial adhesive tape and it was able to secure the rugs quite well It should melt the ice and snow, then you can push all the water out with the included squeegee connected to any broom handle (can be put on opposite end of push broom) or use a wet/dry vacuum to quickly remove it. Restart your drive and drive into the tray once again. By Assembling It is just a matter of unfolding and putting it on the pre-existing surface Moped the surface to remove dirt, and thoroughly dried it (I followed my existing tire tracks to mark where the tracks were going), then laid it out to uncurl. My next step was to cover the plastic with two sticky vecro pads and let it further "relax" and smooth out wrinkles. It's easier to fold one after another, so let the fold lines smooth out. I didn't do this on my first one, but on my second one it came out better. You should have another person help you very slightly stretch and pull it but not too much or you will get tension wrinkles. I did it, but I had a 2nd person help you very gently stretch and pull it. You can also smooth the surface with a squeegie. Put the mat in place, then adhere it to the Your eyes will be blown away by how much mud and water these may With the amount of water that these can hold, you could literally have a shallow pond. This is incredible. I'm super impressed with it. Rather than being rigid, the edges are made up of foam poles threaded into pockets so you may drive over them without any issues. I rarely drive into my garage straight and always drive perfectly in the middle and always avoid driving on the foam pole edges. I've never had a leak in my garage and I never drive straight in. It'd be better if you got a larger SUV to give yourself more area, but my Volvo XC60 has a good foot and a half on both sides and 3 feet and a half tall. The second largest size is necessary for a compact car or small SUV, so the smallest size is adequate. I have 4 extra feet for front and back and I got the second largest size.

There is a flat garage floor and the water from is on this floor
5/5

There is a flat garage floor and the melted snow on my cars causes the water to pool against the wall when it rains. I have not had a single drop of water on the floor since I bought these mats. The materials used for their construction appear to be of high quality. Despite my best efforts, I cannot get rid of the wrinkles on They are cold, so I think that means they're ill. The wrinkles do not seem to hinder the ability of the floor to keep water off of it. If I had to buy them again, I would.
