I'm sorry, Alex, but I don't have a good answer for you because I didn't use the plastic anchors that came with the kit and instead anchored both pieces to a wall stud. It's a lot more secure that way because I didn't want the cord's weight to be supported solely by the sheetrock anchors, but judging by the size of the screws, a 3/16 bit should suffice.
Because the Tesla adapters are attached to the top of the "chassis" according to how they identify the parts, all of the adapters will work. The chassis is supported from the bottom by the chassis holder.

For some reason, this did not work for me. My electrician didn't tell me that he was going to install my outlet so that it wasn't flush with the wall, and the charger's cord is too short to fit in the holder. As a result, I won't be able to make use of that section. I should have saved my money and bought one with just the cord. br>br>I've also discovered that, as much as I like the idea of the plug holder, I just end up hanging it because it's so much faster and it doesn't stick out as far next to my car. This version may work for some people, but it does not work for me.
Originally, I planned to purchase a Tesla wall charger, but instead chose to simply install a NEMA 14-compliant outlet. 30 for the time being, and use the mobile connector with an adapter for a much cheaper alternative; I needed something to hang it up in, but the official Tesla holster was too plain. In the meantime, I was using a nail, but I came across this. br>br>Was perfect; it has a holster for the plug and mimics the same functionality as the official, but it's less expensive and looks a little nicer. In a matter of minutes, I had it up and running. The screws that came with it were a LOT bigger than they needed to be, but I didn't mind because I just drilled a small hole and connected them both. br>br>It's something I'd suggest.
The design addresses all of these valuable items ($275 to replace), from the cord to the connector controller (which I call the brick) to the charging handle. At first, I really wanted the Tesla Wall Connector but that alone was $500 on top of the 240v electrical install and it would have only sped up charging from 90 minutes to% This setup gave me the same level of organization and aesthetic as the Tesla wall connector without the added cost. br>br>*one great piece of advice I received as a result of this wall mount setup. If you want to avoid having to hang your mobile connector upside down, have your electrician install the outlet with the ground at the top.
According to Tesla's conventional wisdom, the best solution for most people is to install a 14-inch Tesla Model S. Rather than installing the $500 Tesla Wall Charger, 50 receptacles and a mobile charger should suffice. If you go that route, this organizer set is ideal because it holds the charger, organizes the cable, and includes a mount for the charger handle, similar to the SuperChargers. The set is well-made, simple to put together, and provides me with a convenient and clutter-free charging station in my garage. If you're doing the 14-day challenge, I believe this set is a must-have. 50 route.
Drill into the wall using the included screws, according to the instructions. That is not something you should do. You don't need anything else if you're going into a stud straight away. Use wall anchors (not included) if you're hanging from drywall. Use the appropriate wall anchor (not included) if you're hanging from stone. br>br>Also, pay attention to the directionality of the cord mount, which is UP. Before you start installing, double-check this. br>br>However, neither of these are covered in the instructions that come with the package. br>br>Aside from that, the mount does exactly what it says it will and at a reasonable price.
It gives my charger a nice cradle to hold it in place, as well as an extra cord to wrap around and keep everything tidy. There were some flaws in the molding, such as swirling, but I don't mind because it's only going to be in the garage. Overall, I would recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient way to organize their charger.
Sturdy, easy to install. The handle on some other cable organizers appears to come out straight. The included hardware is more than adequate for these accessories, and there were even two extra drywall anchors and screws included in the package I received. I specifically bought this product because it rests at a downward angle to reduce the chance of dislodging while walking past. While it appears to be well-made, I wish there was a set screw or pin to secure the cord organizer mounting plate to the organizer. If the slip-up was intentional or not, only time will tell. The fit/tab lock will be able to withstand the test of time.
When the cable holder was hung in the drywall, the anchors became loose. My pilot holes might have been a little too large. It's impossible to remove the holder to reach the screws once it's been snapped on. RougeRV replaced the entire Charger Holder after I had to rip it out, patch holes, and rip it out again (amazing customer service). On my second attempt, I was able to locate wall studs for the screws. It has a snug fit and a solid feel to it. The cradle for charging your phone is in perfect condition. I'm giving them 5 stars because the initial installation issue could have been my fault! When possible, it's always better to use a stud.
