This tool fails to do what it is supposed to do, which is the only problem

One problem with this tool is that it does not include a lock nut, so the tool cannot be locked when checking Fortunately, there was one in my misc. bin, but I had a hard time finding the correct one. In other words, I needed this tool just as it was meant to be used -- it helped me verify my MINI N14 timing chain was within specs, saving me time and money in the process.
