It did the job as expected but was not the best. This is 0. These timing chain holders are not the best as they do not provide enough leverage to hold the camshaft sprockets when the bolts are broken loose as they are extremely tight, and you do not want to stress the chain that much. In the end, I had to order another tool to grip The crank locating pin and locking pin worked perfectly, and the rest of the kit performed as expected.
This tool fits a 3. 0 liter fsi V6 Audi engine. While some products advertise that it fits a 3. 0 liter, this actually fits a 3. 0 liter. The tool operated according to expectations as it was designed to work with a v6 FSU Audi engine.
Everything worked perfectly except the bolts in the cam holding tools need to be upgraded to be stronger since they bent with the torque applied to the cam sprockets, but it's an easy fix.
This is a quality product with a simple, incomplete finish, effective in its purpose but not delivered as expected.
It was a great tool.
The timing chains on a 3 will benefit from this.
The part worked on the replacement of the head gasket on a 2010 Audi S5.
