Are you able to cut pvc pipe with this?

Although I were never able to cut PVC pipe with this tool, it would have been better to use a hacksaw or Sawzall instead. When you are working on thin wall steel exhaust pipes, this tool will perform best.

Is it possible to cut copper pipe with these?

This cut through an exhaust pipe made of steel. There is a difference in the hardness of copper and iron. I believe there will be no problems.

What is the cutting capacity of this tool?

It's great, but you don't want to squeeze it too tightly. If you do, it will bite you. The cutter is very easy to use for cutting metal exhaust and larger diameters.

Are aluminum and steel tailpipes going to be cut?

That should be the case. It is a factory 2 1/2" steel tailpipe that I cut.

It didn't take long for the blades to dull

The SS exhaust pipe was almost worthless as it could not be cut through one piece. It's impossible that these blades are made of hardened steel in any way. These would probably work well for PVC pipes, but not exhaust pipes.

On an '08 Corolla, you need to cut a tailpipe

thing that would make them better is if they were lockable, as they can be quite hard on the wrist, especially in tight spaces However, they were able to cut it without any issues. I'm quite pleased with the result. It worked better than using a cutting wheel and I didn't have to use heat to make the cut.

We used the pipe cutter to modify a direct fit Magnaflow system (yep, you read that right, it is a direct fit) and cut the stainless steel It went through 5 pipe cuts fine, six cuts have been made and it still performs well, remember to use oil, steady pressure, and rotate 180 degrees to ensure a straight line throughout the cut
