My 2008 Ford Mustang has a difficult time extracting the pinon lock bolt. With the exception of the drill bit, the instructions are clear and all of the included parts are of high quality. It wouldn't drill into the bolt, and an expensive Milwaukee replacement bit didn't help. When I bought a Dewalt bit from Lowes, it made quick work of drilling a hole in the broken bolt, and the screw extractor quickly removed it. With a different bit, the kit would be five stars.
The Allen bolt is nice, but I paid $40 for a drill bit that wasn't strong enough to drill through cardboard, and it broke 3 seconds into drilling. Now I'm stuck and have to figure something else out. Don't waste your money on this overpriced junk.
This was a lifesaver, especially since Ford is aware of a problem with the pinion bolt breaking. The bolt was spinning when I removed it, but it wasn't because of the removal tools. It was well worth the investment!.
Taking out the broken bolt was the simplest thing I've ever done.
