Yes. Vacuum leaks, and it's quite sensitive.
No, if I'm not mistaken, this unit does not include an additional piece that attaches to the end of the flexible wand; instead, it has a hard rubber end that allows you to place the end of the wand directly on whatever you want to feel or listen to for vibration, as well as a toggle switch for noise vs. vibration. whether or not to be sensitive to background noise
It's fantastic!

This is a fantastic tool for hearing noises, and I've already used it on a number of occasions, such as with bad belts and idler pulleys. Remember, this is just a tool, not a magic wand, and I was able to confirm a bad transmission that someone else told a customer was a bad engine. It will only help you figure out what's wrong. Thank you for providing such an excellent tool.

For the price, this is an excellent wand. Noise detection is sensitive and effective.

Even with the volume turned all the way down, there's a painful thump if you turn it off while wearing the headphones (which could have been fixed with a 10-minute fix). Capacitor of one cent. ) There is a lot of hiss, even when the volume is turned down. High- The volume of low-frequency sounds isn't increased. The LED on the wand is nice, but the mechanical stethoscope works much better. br>br>.
