Questions & Answers

Is anyone using this to locate air leaks in their systems?

Yes. Vacuum leaks, and it's quite sensitive.

Does this unit come with a metal extension that attaches to the flexible wand like some others? If not, how does it function in terms of vibration?

No, if I'm not mistaken, this unit does not include an additional piece that attaches to the end of the flexible wand; instead, it has a hard rubber end that allows you to place the end of the wand directly on whatever you want to feel or listen to for vibration, as well as a toggle switch for noise vs. vibration. whether or not to be sensitive to background noise

Is there anyone who has the specifications? What is the volume and control settings for the sound?

It's fantastic!

What a fantastic product!! Electronic engine ear with vibration detection is a great product at a great price
5/5

This is a fantastic tool for hearing noises, and I've already used it on a number of occasions, such as with bad belts and idler pulleys. Remember, this is just a tool, not a magic wand, and I was able to confirm a bad transmission that someone else told a customer was a bad engine. It will only help you figure out what's wrong. Thank you for providing such an excellent tool.

Works OK
3/5

The ambient sound dampening isn't as good as it could be. Sound isolation from all directions is adequate. The headphone cable is coiled and only extends about 4 feet. Headphones are fine; has an LED light at the tip that cannot be turned off to save battery life; has an LED light at the tip that cannot be turned off to save battery life; has an LED light that cannot be turned off to save battery life They don't completely enclose your ear canal.

The vibration mode isn't working right now
3/5

Design flaws. Even after unplugging and replugging the sensor wand, the vibration mode does not work. br>br>Not designed by a skilled engineer. Even with the volume turned all the way down, there's a painful thump if you turn it off while wearing the headphones (which could have been fixed with a 10-minute fix). Capacitor of one cent. ) There is a lot of hiss, even when the volume is turned down. High- The volume of low-frequency sounds isn't increased. The LED on the wand is nice, but the mechanical stethoscope works much better. br>br>.
