The tool has been described as being able to work on 3/16" to 1/4" holes, but I'm not sure how that works. With the tool and the 3/16" line, it went very smoothly. Embraces the initiative
My brakes line was 1/4 inch but it worked well with it when I used it. I have not used mine in awhile but I am pretty sure it still works. It's just that I can't remember exactly which size it was. This is the S they sell. I think it works with both sizes of flexible brake tubing, so I think it works with both sizes of flexible brake tubing. This might be of some help.

The only thing that matters is the functionality. Compared to other versions, this is much cheaper. This flat bar is short and slender, with a linear cut, overpriced, and comes in 2 pieces. You need to cut out the groove and use There are two types of handles. Check whether the grooves on both sides of the flat bar are the same. I would not expect a world-beater (don't expect anything amazing Here, quality is of the highest level). Thank goodness that the slot alignment on the one I received was 'close enough' to perform the task (generally straightening the 3/16" brake line that had a wide arc'd shipping bend that needed straightening to fit in the vehicle). You will also need to pay attention to the quality of your order if you are a perfectionist The end result is that this is not the tool for you and you will not be able to achieve the results you desire. A tubing straightener designed for working men, it does what it is supposed to do. Since it's a flat bar with sharp corners, I'd only tackle it very carefully and under very limited circumstances if I was a 'tubing bender. In order to wrench, break, and repeat - Those on the road and those on foot It is a good item to keep in the trail bag of 4X4 types. Although the design is simple, it still seems to be a bit pricey for its simplicity. The design has a similar look and feel to the It would be better to sell the tool for even less than 99 cents. There's still a $40 price tag. The bottom line is that it is one of the most affordable options on the market, since the other versions (rollers and sleeves) are ridiculously overpriced ($100s and up).
They turned out pretty well for me. In my case, I used them to straighten some bent NiCopp brake lines, and the result was definitely noticeable. If you want them perfectly straight, then you will need a different tool, and from what I have seen, it is much more expensive. Thus, they strike a good balance when it comes to value. While I'm unsure of the bending ability of them, I can give you some insight into the design element. From the design of the tool, it didn't look like it could make tight bends, but I didn't need it since the NiCopp curves easily by hand. Could I have straightened the NiCopp by hand? Possibly, but I felt these did it more quickly. In terms of recommended tools for the home mechanic, these are my choices.
It is a good tool that I was glad to have when I installed my brake pipes for the money. This is made for 1/4" but I was using 3/16", so that may be why it didn't fit. My line isn't perfectly straight after it straightens the bends but it gets rid of the bends. The lower end roller systems that I wish I had instead were still available, so it is still worthwhile to me, but it doesn't replace the higher end ones.
After my first use, I was going to give it 3 stars, but I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed using The fact that I could apply it to the brake lines already installed on the car was EXTRA nice. The tools should last forever when they are heavy duty.
Forming and bending brake and fuel lines is easily accomplished with this very basic tool. It bends pipe smoothly even at 90°, so you don't have to worry about the tube kinking. That will save you a lot of time and money if you need to have custom lines made.
There is nothing wrong with this item. A fast delivery is also important. My sincere thanks go out to you.
The 1/4" bolt doesn't fit. There is a lot of stiffness in the joint. Having to work with longer pieces of tubing can be challenging. There is no point to paying for this.
A tool like this would be fantastic if the dies were welded onto the handles straight, so they could constrain the tubing to actual straighten it. Another piece of crap I have to fight my way back to.
