The purpose of this purchase is to prevent brake fluid from spreading when removing brake calipers to repair them. ) goes around the brake line, and a rubber stopper plugs the end. While the idea of the product is great, it needs to have a slightly longer opening range. As there is a difference in sizing between the two brake lines, only ONE of them will work for your vehicle.
I couldn't get these to work. The plugs were needed to plug up my transmission cooler lines, which leaked when they were placed on them. Even though I tried all I could to get them to work, fluid ran everywhere. The plastic sandwich bags I used ended up being too small Put rubber bands in the lines to stop them from flowing. My tires and brake lines were already disconnected, so I unplugged them, plugged them with this, and then fitted the new calipers, banjo bolts, and lines before pulling this off to reconnect the brake line. The process was quick and easy. I lost very little brake fluid.
This product meets its advertised specifications. We saved some money and avoided some mess that would've occurred from brake fluid loss. No drips. When you break it free from the flex line, you clip onto the hard line. I like that!.
The banjo stopper is all I need for now to do a BBK upgrade on my Silverado, and it works like a charm! This system is simple to use, leak-free, and best of all, it's fast and reduces fluid loss to the A pressure bleeder was used afterward, and after a few seconds fluid had returned to the reservoir.
As soon as you split a brake line, all the brake fluid drains out and causes You'll save time by not bleeding out the air, and your fluid will not be contaminated!.
