I would highly recommend it
5/5

It increases the length of the slide hammer when it is I was able to thread it onto my OTC slide hammer kit with no problem. Considering that the item came in a large cardboard box, I assume it was shipped in order to prevent damage. This shaft is hexagonal, which makes finding the hole for the slide hammer easier. This fits in the slide hammer kit as well, so you can store it with ease.

The product was as I have an OTC slide hammer and this fits perfectly onto it
5/5

By doing this I was able to remove the hammer itself from the wheel well of the car, allowing me to pull it straight, with no problem. While my CV joint popped out nicely, I had to use a vice grip attachment due to the fact that the CV puller (different vendor) was too fat. Although the price is a bit steep for a metal piece, I guess it has to be shipped heavy.

The price is a bit high, but it works well
5/5

In my opinion, 42 dollars for a foot-long piece of metal was a bit expensive but I was in a bind. This thing made the work of removing a rusty axle from a Ford Escort in about 5 minutes*. At first glance, it looks cheap and rough, but when you hold it in your hands, that's not the case. I made it. As opposed to all the homemade rigs I tried, which all failed, I should just have bought it from the store. In this case, I used an axle puller extension, skipping the locknut to gain more space, and really pounded it on the ground. I never damaged the threads at all. The impression I got was impressive.

The axle shaft could be removed easily with this method
5/5

On a Toyota I was working on, this part served as a tool to remove the CV axle shaft. All specifications were met with a good fit and finish and the part functioned as expected. This gives a little more flexibility when using the slide hammer in tight confines and can be used with any of the various attachments that can be used on the end of the slide hammer. Those purchasing this part should keep in mind that it is octogonal in shape, and can be tightened onto the slide hammer shaft with ease. With the OTC seal puller, this is one of the best tools in your tool box!.

Extension rod that is the best
5/5

A product like this is useful because it gives the user a bit of extra leverage when pulling stubborn parts like CV axle joints.

I like it! My slide hammer is much better now that I have the extension
5/5

My knuckles don't get busted doing this instead of pulling the axles out If I need to change an axle shaft, this tool is my go-to tool.
