Our Mazda 5 developed an issue with the driver side CV axle, which caused the car to become immobile completely and to loudly grind when driven. I thought it was strange because my wife was driving 80 mph on the highway when it started. I ordered this, as well as the fork, separately since the combo was out of stock, but that's inconsequential. The fork did not fit tight enough around the CV axle transaxle end, but I was able to wrap some ceiling grid wire from Home Depot around that end, wrap it around the hammer puller, and out it came with just a single It is forbidden to pry with a pry bar, to curse, or to swear. In less than an hour, I was able to put the car back together.

This slide hammer is great! This is heavy duty stuff! Have used it for axle bearing pulls on a Jeep Grand Cherokee so far

The bearing removal kit worked perfectly for what we needed
