The PPS 2 adapter was completely functional, so I was able to use it. The Master Pro 44 does not have any cups. My experience with the MPS (Master Painter System), which is a manufacturers' version of a disposable cup system, was less than satisfactory. The 3M adapter worked well for me but I am not sure if it is just a defective kit or not. 3M PPS 2 is a new product introduced in late 2002. The cup in the MPS and other kits can be snugged down until it forms a seal, whereas the cup on the 0 kit can be tightened down until it forms a seal once the cup is clipped, there is no further way to tighten it down.

Compared to 1, this is better. Version 0 of the PPS. With modern cups, it is easier to remove and put on than with old-style cups that require a lot of effort to insert. It just needs a simple turn to lock.

I'm going to use this with different sized cups and am currently painting the kitchen cabinets with Advance cabinet paint by Benjamin Moore. With my Astro Pneumatic EurePro HE 103 spray gun, it works incredibly well. There are many benefits to the PPS system It is still possible for a novice painter like me to achieve a good result. Cleanup and mixing is a lot easier with this.
