What is the durability of these if they are sand blasted?

Yes, I think so. Soft and pilable, these plugs all have the same properties. As sand bounces off, it will just go on and on.

Do these caps have a distinct advantage over other types of caps when it comes to cooling systems?

It is not something I would recommend.

The headphones do not seem to be in a case. Are ?

Despite the fact that the plugs and caps are packaged separately so they do not mix up, they do not come with a hard case.

I had to plug the bucket drain on the dehumidifier so that water would drain out the back of the unit. I liked it a lot. So now I can handle 159 other hole plugging problems - I'm ready. I love it.
