Each hook faces a depth and width of 3/8" while the overall length measures 6".
An attachment is mounted on a slide hammer so the tool can be used to pull bearings, bushings, seals, etc. I saw a video on "s-" It is time to remove the cam bearing". In order to remove the bushing, the guy used a big hammer. Using a specialized tool, he replaced the bushings and seals on the engine. For the inside bearing and seal removal jobs, I use my slide hammer pulling hook on a regular basis. Take advantage of this great offer!

I used this product on the replacement of my ATV CV boot and it worked perfectly! A steel hose clamp was added around it so it could be locked in place around the outer CV joint while the slide hammer was applied.
My 2010 Corolla needed the inner CV joint removed from the transaxle - I used it to do that. The first time you attempted it, you got it right! When I looked at the tip of the hook, I found no sign of wear or deformation of the metal, which makes it a higher quality hook than the one I received Besides renewing the extension, the only thing I need to do is clean up the hub assembly, which is usually in the way of the hammer.
When I changed the CV axle for the first time, I chipped off the tip. Certain vehicles do not allow you to mount the hook behind the CV joint because of the angle of the hook. In an ideal world, a 90 degree would've been perfect if the tool was solid enough to endure the My intent is to return mine for an exchange, unless there's a better design and stronger tool available from a different manufacturer.
My experience with this has been that it doesn't require much effort but it does save time and effort. I have only broken one in three months of shop use, but it was pulling a 1994 RV 3/4 ton wheel hub for which bearings had been welded on. one of the most useful tools I've seen. I highly recommend it!.
The tool should do the job in general. Since the one I ordered was taking so long to arrive, I built one myself. As a consequence, I will use this one someday. I am a little worried, however, that I may smash it by merely dropping it on As a result, I got 5 stars on all metrics since it arrived without a scratch or damage. This is the only item I'll buy in the future.
For 1997 to 1999 Toyota Camry 2 transaxles, I used this to fit into the tight space when removing CV joints from the transaxle. The following numbers are in liters. Holding the puller tool in place was an easy task with a hose clamp. tool is useful when pulling axles from transaxles when there is no room for them to do so.
Despite the poor quality, it is great. This tool is simple, but also very well designed and of great quality. The seals and pulls are used in several pulls as well as small bearings. This shaft appears to be quite sturdy, but I am unsure how suitable it would be for heavy work. You need the right tool for the.
If you're a farmer or mechanic, this is the tool you'll need to remove stuck PTO attachments it can also be used to remove stuck bearings. If you use a slide hammer, they come off rapidly and you aren't going to cut your fingers.
