I just received some new rims/wheels for my 2012 Camaro, but after the last tire rotation the following error message appeared on my dashboard There is also a glowing yellow wrench next to the words, "Service Tire Pressure Monitoring System Recommended". Taken my car to a tire store near my home (where I had my wheels and tires mounted). A diagnostic tool was used to diagnose the sensors and everything was fine. I chose to go to YouTube and read my owners manual about my car's method for resetting the sensors. My car can be re-repaired in a specific sequence which includes using a vehicle reset device. The issue has been resolved. I would highly recommend this if you like to do your own stuff the right way. My tire store is a completely trustworthy store, but they failed to follow my car's unique procedures for a sensor reset after new wheels and tires were installed. I am very happy with this device!.

The problem has been resolved. As a result of the poorly printed codes on the TPM units I bought, I had up to five possible codes for each sensor. The more I tried to get it to work, the worse it got. The device was already able to put 5 ID codes into the car within 15 minutes of unboxing.

For a small repair shop or home mechanic, this is a fantastic device. You must update to the latest version of the software to get the best performance. The unit works great to reprogram sensors but not the car computer. Its price is great for the bargain you get.
