Are these software tools able to reprogramme the psi settings in your tires on the ecu based on the values on the vehicle's high low settings?

The device tests key fobs based on proximity. Does it sense if key fobs are close enough to the sensor? Is it easy to use?

The key fob tester has not been used to test key fobs, but I imagine that it would simply determine the strength of the RF signal when a button is pressed on the key

The tire pressure settings in your car's ecu can be altered by this tool. Can it be reprogrammed to adjust the high-low pressure settings in your tires? Is it OK to copy and paste the ad (please do not)?

Greetings and thanks for your time. This is not possible with the Autel TS501.

Is there anything it can't A new thing came to my attention
4/5

I ended up needing it for just one rare task, and it is capable of just about everything else. These TPMS replacement units can be used in a wide variety of vehicles. TPMS units can be activated to work with a different protocol depending on the car, and the TPMS unit sets itself with that protocol when activated. For example, if you have 7003a DILL distributed redistribution, you would need An auto sensor is programmed for a Ford F-150 of the year 2015/7 In your case you can't activate it for a Toyota RAV4 since it is not compatible. In that case, it will be like the TPMS unit has stopped working. However, this is not the case. This tool does not lock back the TPMS unit and does not restore it to default, so it cannot be used for the right automobile.
Set your scan tool for Ford and it will show up just fine. It has been my experience that the only unit I can find that will unlock or reset a TPMS unit is the $1400 Bartec unit. At least 00. The use of instructions that provide all these kinds of details is not recommended There are already.

This device is a great device that you have to have
5/5

You have to have a TPMS reader and writer. It is far superior to anything else available on the market.

Very easy to use One tool that does two things
5/5

An aftermarket set of wheels was installed on my 2014 Subaru BRZ. It was not possible to program the TPS sensors into the vehicle. A dealer wanted $300 for these tires because the guys at 2 Hibdons tire centers couldn't program them. It is possible to buy two separate pieces of equipment to solve certain problems There are two tools for this. One is to activate and/or read the sensor codes and one is to program the TPS sensor via the ODB II port. The process is not difficult, just choose the car model and manufacturer and make sure you place the tool close to the The tool must be plugged into the ODB II port after it has all codes in memory, so that it can erase the old codes and download the new ones. Simply turn on your car and drive down the road a little and you'll be back on track. I give this tool 5 stars because of its great features and reasonable instructions.

This is an excellent tool
5/5

Winter driving requires me to swap out my wheels a few times a year, so I have extra wheels and tires on hand. The kind of person I am My Subaru dealer will have to reprogram the TPMS sensors and clear the error codes for me, and I don't want to travel for at least half an hour and sit around for an hour or so. I figured that this tool would pay for itself over time if they did it every eighteen months, or about $80 annually. Besides the new tool, I would be owning two. It is a pleasure to work with the TS501 and am extremely impressed by its quality and functionality. A replacement was sent as soon as they realized the first one had been damaged. Two days after I had my replacement, I had a new one. Amazon has been a great help! Also, the TS501 I received was fully charged and had been updated to the highest level. A ROM update was available, but the only addition for me would be a Korean language addition, so it is not important to me. There are a large number of options available with the TS501, and my model of car is still in the current By activating, scanning, programming the new codes into my car's computer and clearing the codes (warning light), I had the codes cleared within minutes. My previous experience was using a tool of a different brand that did not work on my vehicle. I compared other options and returned another brand's tool as well. I was very impressed with the Autel MaxiTPMS TS501, and it works perfectly. A ten minute reading of the manual from start to finish is standard even for the novice.

Working on Subarus demands the use of this tool
5/5

The following was revised on July 20, 2021

I have used this on a Honda Fit 2008 with Atuel MX sensors recently. MX® 1 sensors are available in both 315MHz and 433MHz frequencies and are suitable for universal applications. It was the need to update the TS501 to work with the new sensors that created the biggest problem. I had trouble with the set-up and set-up process for a user account. Also, I had a problem after updating the unit, not being able to read any sensors. It is important that you make sure your region is still correct. Next, turn off the device, remove the SD card, wait a minute, replace the SD card, and turn it on again. After that, there were no problems. The Honda OBD function enabled me to read the codes from the vehicle, which I then copied to the new sensors one at a time. The sensor installation was done before I ran the tests to avoid any potential issues. While the TS501 and sensors have locations, that is useless to the car since it does not have a location-based readout. I bought a set of these sensors. Despite the name, they are Subaru-branded This review and my review of them have a great deal in common. By using the TS501, I was able to reprogram the unit and "wake" the equipment. All I had to do was stick the sensor in the top of the scan tool and start If you plan to install the sensor, this needs to be done before installation, since the sensor needs to be positioned as close as possible to the scanner. When I tried to scan an unscannned sensor from a few inches away, it could not When they are scanned at first, they scan correctly within a few inches of their position. There you can see how it reads the unit's ID, PSI, and tells you that it is indeed operating at 315MHz. We can't see the temperature or battery level on the Subaru like we can on I was able to use the scan tool to scan the IDs in the order it wanted them after the sensors were installed. Plugging in the cable and writing data to the computer is the next step. When I turned the wheel out of the driveway, the TPMS light had gone out. It was so easy, and it took less than five minutes to set up the device. It even has the directions on it. The TS501 is one of the best tools for this purpose. While there are other tools out there, there aren't as comprehensive as this one and they sometimes require another tool to accomplish the same thing. As well as being extremely simple to use, the tool also has a wide range of options. Actually, the manual was a little confusing than just using the tool on its own. When comparing the manual and the tool, the manual talks about all possibilities, while the tool requires you to choose a model and year before figuring out any pertinent details about that The manual, to my surprise, didn't appear to be poorly written as some of the reviews suggested. The book has a lot of information and is written a lot in a technical manner. However, I also have a fairly new revision of the manual, so it is possible things may have changed. In less than two weeks, I have returned the sub $200 investment (I purchased it during a flash sale). It cost $125 to reprogram with the local dealer. Even when you include the time spent waiting, that still doesn't account for my time. You know it will take an hour because you know they will do it so you feel like you got your money's.
