In order for the adjustable function to work, the pin is connected to the upper knob. In use, CCW switch the knob to close the R1234yf coupler, fasten it to the AC service port, then CW switch the knob to lift the internal pin to insert and pull out the Schrader valve core. By using this design instead of pushing the valve core into the AC service port, the internal pins lessen the wearing of the valve core, and there is no refrigerant leakage when the valve is connected or disconnected.

Using Snap Lock's quick interface at the bottom, the quick function can be accessed. There is an anti-slip grip ring around the outside of the adjustable quick connection connector and an accurate snap lock with ball bearings design on the inside. This makes it easy to connect and disconnect the port with all modes of R1234yf service ports.

This is not the case. The hose ends shown here are normal 1234yf You will not be able to use these hoses if you do not have 1234yf hoses. This is not done by them. It is likely that you already have these since you have the hoses. There appears to be no situation where anyone would ever need them, save for if someone lost a fitting from.
