Product Description

BlackMax MBH4P5EZ block bodies are precision machined from aircraft aluminium alloy and built to last

A high degree of accuracy and a protective boot they are both class 1 0 3 1/8" metal cased gauges

The R-134a / 22 / 404A / 410A refrigerant scales are easy to read and use

A nonpermeating B & C hose with a working pressure of 800 PSI and a burst pressure of 4000 PSI with a Triple Seal piston valve are included.

An extra access port in the center with a Schrader valve and a pro-set of 5ft black & chrome hoses with 45 degree anti-blowback valves on both ends and a hanging hook.

I don't think it does. It is used with refrigeration and HVAC there is also a set that CPS makes specific to a car's a/c system of the same model of Blackmaxx. It is also possible to buy quick couplers separately.

Would this be for filling up the a/c unit at home. ?

If you have a home air conditioning unit, you can use this manifold.

It is not a reliable source in the HVAC&R business

I think this product gets out of calibration every third use, yes it is easy to read and yes it is easy to use, but when all 3 hoses leak at the valve to hose connection, I think I have a leak while I am still searching for leaks in my HVAC system. After you have finally mounted this so-called brand-new gauge set, you want me to examine it for the first time as you have never connected it to an HVAC unit before. I had a new gauge set for my R system only to find out my discomfort can be attributed to the 3 brand new hoses that came with it. Now that's frustrating when trying to reach.

It's my job to work in the HVAC industry. Throughout the years, I have had great success with Yellow Jacket and Hilmore gauges. They appear to be working well, they were hooked up to my personal unit so the ball valve hoses would not blow by at the same time as the manifold valves did. As they should, they worked well. As far as the fittings where you attach the hoses to the manifold are concerned, they seem a little rough due to the chrome plating I'm The 3-D effect is the one I dislike the most I ordered 1/8 black spider web protectors, but they seem cheap, don't fit snug and aren't that tight. In terms of appearance, they seem better than Yellow Jacket to me, but I am looking forward to seeing how they perform.

The valve at the end of the hose is made of plastic

The gauges look like they would be useful. It is sad that the end fittings at the end of the hoses are plastic and I worry that they will It may not have made sense to buy them if I knew It is also hard to tighten the hose on either end and it is easy to come loose. Many of the rubber seals around the valve heads are loose and move around a lot. It does not seem as though they would do much to protect you if they fell.

gauges, I opened the package and was quite impressed by the quality of workmanship and the materials used. The plastic surrounding the gauges does not make them look particularly attractive, but they do work fine nonetheless. This manifold is almost a four-port manifold as it has a valve core on one side and an open side on the other, making it easy for pulling a vacuum and breaking the nitro without needing to switch hoses I will review more after I have used it for a while! Thanks for a great product!.

A manifold was not completed correctly, a hole was not drilled on the inlet for the low and high pressure sides, only for the The box was a nice size and the product was packaged nicely, but after reading all the excellent reviews I was disappointed.

I recommend a low loss fitting addition because they do The 410a heating system did not suffer any damage after I switched to it accidentally. You can make a mistake when you are rushing to the service ports if you are faced with solid black. It's a great backup for a digital set all in all.

My husband fell in love with these gauges as soon as he saw them for the first time. It was no surprise I procured them for him when we had a bit of money, and sure as rain I finally got them. There is almost a reason he won't let them leave his site. Thank you to the designer who came up with these.

The gauges were in the wrong position

The first thing I noticed was that the high pressure gauge was on the left side not the right. I don't know if it's supposed to be this way, but in all my previous sets of gauges, the high pressure was always on the right side. Fortunately, I was able to swap the two Other than that, they seem like nice people.
